Superadam051
Isn't there a way to change the attributes of single pieces of weapons / armour without going into something like TS5Edit or the Creation Kit
DoctorKaizeld
yes you can use the equipment at the forges to upgrade them, beyond that you have to use the CK
stebbinsd
May I ask ... why is using the CK such a terrible thing? I mean ... you don't know the first thing about scripting, programming, or graphics design. I get it. But this is just a matter of changing a few fields of data! If you download the CK, and go and enter, you'll see a list, on the left, of all the actors, characters, items, statics, and everything else that may physical manifest itself in the game world (Note: Quests are not included in these lists, since they don't PHYSICALLY manifest themselves). From that list, find the weapon or armor type you want to change. Double click on it. Then, you'll see fields, which you can edit, for such things as damage, weight, value, speed, reach, etc. Just ... delete the contents of the field you want to change, and replace it with whatever you want it to be. Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy. No programming or advanced computer knowledge necessary.
