Benhhhh Posted December 23, 2014 Share Posted December 23, 2014 Hey, I've had skyrim on the xbox for a while and I decided to get it on PC, mainly because of the mods and new quests and stuff. anyway, it keeps crashing on me and it has for a while but it wasn't that bad but now it crashes on me every time I wait. The mods I've installed in order are... I recently used console command to make a copy of Astrid in whiterun castle so I could use AP on her. Thats when the problems started to become more frequent, so I tried to find a way to get rid of her using console command to undo what I've done, but nothing worked. I then used console command to make the Astrid copy not immortal so I could kill her, but that hasn't fixed the problem either. I've also been deleting previous saves to see if that help but it hasn't. I say this to let you know I can't go back to when I hadn't used console command to make a new astrid. I've only just downloaded AstridReborn. Right now I have Astrid the 2nd's dead body next to a stairwell. Can someone please help. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Below is my guide that will teach you everything you need to know as a beginner, IF you follow it step by step. Secondly, you have ESM files loaded after ESP files, HUGE no no. Furthermore the fact that you would say something like that just shows me that you don't fully understand what Wrye Bash / Flash does. Lastly if you had taken a moment to read my guide in the link I posted, you would have seen that LOOT is the very first step of my guide, every person who has tried my guide has had success with it. Nothing wrong with your guide, but two corrections to the information you provided here: 1) Bash Patch does not handle Papyrus scripts. 2) It doesn't matter even if a user somehow managed to place ESMs after ESPs in a load order. ESMs will always be loaded by the engine before ESPs (nevertheless, it's obviously a good idea to maintain a good load order).
