DrakeStryker
Is it just me, or does the Vanilla way to improve your Alchemy skill seem rather limited? I seem to vaguely recall that Oblivion allowed players to improve their Alchemy skill when harvesting and eating ingredients. Either that, or I've sampled one too many of my own products (mmmm, mushrooms!). In any event, I think that there should be a mod that does just that - grant a reasonable amount of experience (considering how many ingredients are out there to be harvested) for harvesting ingredients, and slightly more for eating ingredients, but only if a new effect for that ingredient is found. Nexus, make it happen! Edited December 23, 2014 by DrakeStryker
lofgren
Both Oblivion and Skyrim give alchemy experience for eating ingredients. Neither give experience for harvesting ingredients.
DrakeStryker
Hmmm... maybe then forget this request. Clearly, I have been imbibing too many of them, myself (or not enough, as the case may be).
lofgren
Well just because that's not how Oblivion worked doesn't mean you need to drop your request. I was just informing you.
