vram1974 Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 First it took me about an hour to escape the very first cave of the game at Level 1 because a pack of wolves attacked me and I couldn't kill them. I had to set the difficulty to novice. Then I find they attack incessantly like a plague wherever you go in the game. And it's annoying because they aggro my followers like you wouldn't believe. One time I was talking to someone to start what looked like a quest and I got attacked by a pack of wolves. The NPC ran away and I couldn't find her again. Attacked by another pack of ice wolves as I left Dawnstar. Ok, I understand some wolf attacks are realistic but there are SO MANY that if I were a Jarl I would order the extermination of every wolf in Skyrim. And if there's a mod to eliminate these creatures I will download it. It breaks immersion and realism to be attacked by wolves NONSTOP. Like, nonstop. Any animal that was this aggressive in any world with humans would be hunted down and put into extinction. It's also unrealistic. Wolves aren't like this in this world and even though we're playing fantasy I don't think any other NPC creature is this aggressive.

That made me laugh. Do you have SkyTEST, Realistic Animals and Predators installed, or is this Vanilla wolves? Most people want MORE difficulty, not less, but I did find the SkyTEST wolves outside Helgen to be a little bit too tough sometimes. I might try that pacifist animal mod for my Druid, though..

The wolf attacks in Skyrim are too much and it really breaks immersion. I have done nothing about it however... this topic reminded me that I should find a fix. :) This Mod sorts the Wolf problem out: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21183/?Sweet, I'm gonna check that out. :)
