Jonlissla
-------Warning! Spoiler!------- 1) When fighting Mankar Camoran. You don't get the chance to talk to him, like you did in Morrowind with Dagoth Ur. :( -------End of Spoiler!------- 2) Battlemages in Arcane University are a quite overpowered, as well as Guards. Try conjuring up a Storm Atronach or Lich, or maybe both, (with the help of mod) and watch them bite the dust. (Hit your own summoned creatures three times and they turn against you. The funny thing is that guards will help you, but you still get the bounty if your creatures kill them, so no exploits there! :P ) 3) The Gray Prince is a wuss. *Gasp!* A fearsome level 10 Warrior! Oooh, I'm shaking! ;D

You don't get the chance to talk to him, like you did in Morrowind with Dagoth Ur. :( -------End of Spoiler!-------Well he starts talking to you for a while when standing close to him. 'Live', not in dialogue mode. You could still walk around or crack his skull with a hammer while he was sitting on his throne and talking to you. But you can't ask him questions so Dagoth Ur was still better in this situation.
cryocry
I remember this annoying conversation that had no purpose: The crazy Bosmer at the Anvil Docks (elven names are so hard to remember, except for a few): Hello! Some Orc (I forgot his name also): Bye. The Bosmer: So long.

I can almost memorise it- "One day, You will see the folly of the Emperor etc.- I will crush anyone who dare defy me etc- I WEAR A THONG!" (I might have edited that last one a bit... :P )
Yndifall
Hmm parts that annoy or anger me. well for a start the Daedric quest where you have to kill Umbra, I killed her and I want to finish the quest, but everytime I finish talking to the God my game glitches andf reezes as it removes that darn dog from my inventory, and since I play on the 360 there is no solution. Another thing of my annoyance is the starting scenes when you create a new character, the Dunmer in the Cells really gets on my wick. Thank goodness I get my just desserts later on. Guest Tessera
That entire fight with M. Cameron at the end is annoying to me. No particular part of it... just the whole encounter with him. I would have written it differently, had it been up to me. It was very anti-climactic, too... considering all the contrived BS that we had to go through to make it that far. All that hype.. it was a let down to say the least, running around fetching all those items, giving away one of the rare and highly valuble daedric artifact and progressing through Camorans annoying paradise.. for what? a one hit kill on the S.O.B. Tess, I agree, I wonder what impact the story line would have instead..
Tiberiu911
The storyline, especially the end. I too have been disapointed by the lack of "fun" with the daedra lord. Morrowind actually had a decent story. Shame for Oblivion!

Morrowind actually had a decent story. Shame for Oblivion! I think Oblivion's storyline was fine... it was the payoff that sucked. I spent a week getting all hyped up for an epic battle between good and evil (or whatever)... and what did I get instead..? (1) A gimped elf in his make-believe sanctuary, who literally died to my hand before he was even done speaking... - and - (2) An epic boss fight with a demigod that I... umm... got to watch, like some brain-dead spectator. It would have been nice if they'd let me whack him in the ankles a few times, at least. Instead, I got to see Akatosh kick his ass FOR me ("Oooooooo... Ahhhhhh...."), whilst I stood there frozen in place and picking my nose. WTF..?! I was very disappointed with that. I wanted a piece of that bloated 'tard... I'd spent a long time tracking him down and dammit..!! He should have been MINE.

Oblivion had no interesting plot twist at all; just some lame stolen amulet. Morrowind, had the "twist" as I am sure all of you who played it know what I mean. OB could of had been alot more interesting if they gave you a sudden relevation along the storyline (Your father was the cousin of the brother-in-law of the milkman of Martim Septim's great grandfather's uncle's roommate!!!) and of course, an epic fight with Mehrunes Dagon... They could of though of something, like a catapult attack or a legion of battlemages under your command. The "play" mechanisms are deceiving but they where made to appeal to "casual gamers", leaving serious players dissapointed. No offense, they do spoon feed you. Play Gothic 3 or Morrowind, you will see a difference. Or ask Malchik. He can write a novel about it.
