How do I manage to have:

Darnified UI

The Mod Configuration Menu

The Weapon Mod Menu

JIP Selective Fire

JIP Companions Command and Control

Project Nevada and Project Nevada Extra Options HUD elements

unified HUD project

oneHUD

all working at once properly?

Any help would be appreciated.

Started off by uninstalling all listed mods (and Gopher's Range Finder and Trap Detection mods, as well as MTUI) as well as all other mods (Will only list re installation of relevant mods).

I should note that I have the latest beta version of NVSSE installed, as well as the latest version Lutana's NVSE plugin. I'm using the updated version of 4GB New Vegas.

1. Made sure that all FNV ini's had the required Darnified UI font changes.

2. Installed DUINV v04

3. Installed the Mod Configuration Menu, pressed Yes To All when prompted to overwrite. Mod installed successfully.

4. Installed the Weapon Mod Menu, pressed Yes To All when prompted to overwrite. Mod installed successfully.

5. Installed Project Nevada with all modules, was given a prompt that my MCM files are newer than the ones included in Project Nevada and asked whether I wanted to keep the newer ones, pressed yes, when prompted to overwrite files, pressed Yes To All. Mod installed successfully.

6. Installed Project Nevada - Extra Options with all modules except for Equipment. When prompted to overwrite files, pressed Yes To All. Mod installed successfully.

7. Installed a number of other mods (texture mods and a few quest and npc mods, a few utilities, and a few others), none of which should have any effect at all on the UI. All mods installed successfully.

Will finish the rest tomorrow.

8. Installed JIP Selective Fire. When prompted to overwrite files, pressed Yes To All. Mod installed successfully.

9. Installed JIP Companions Command and Control. When prompted to overwrite files, pressed Yes To All. Mod installed successfully.

10. Installed Flashlight. Mod installed successfully.

11. Installed Advance Recon Range Finder. When prompted to overwrite files, pressed Yes To All. Mod installed successfully.

12. Installed Advance Recon Thermal Nightvision. When prompted to overwrite files, pressed Yes To All. Mod installed successfully.

13. Installed OneHUD. When prompted to overwrite files, pressed Yes To All. Mod installed successfully.

14. Installed OneHUD Darnified patch. When prompted to overwrite files, pressed Yes To All. Mod installed successfully.

15. Installed User Interface Organizer. Mod installed successfully.

14. Installed a few mods that don't work properly with FOMM and have to be installed manually, none of which should interfere with the UI mods.

16. Removed some mods that were unnecessary from the load order.

17. Ran LOOT to optimize load order.

18. Ran FNVEdit to check if mods and load order are good. Background loading finished properly, so hopefully everything will run fine.

19. Ran FNV through the 4gbfnv executable

18. Loading screens began playing, than fallout new vegas stopped working, with accompanying error message.

19. Ran LOOT a second time, and then tried to sort load order manually inside Wrye Flash NV with the below as my intended end.

ESM Files

Core+DLC

Fixes

Mods that add worldspaces/cells

Mods that edit worldspaces/cells

Creature/NPC mods

Gun Mods

Misc Mods (sortomatic etc)

ESP Files

HUD mods

Misc Mods

Armor/Weapon Mods

Merge Patch

Weather Mod

20. Tried sorting masters in FNVEdit to fix a few problems, making sure to save copies of the problematic mods without changes first.

21. Rebuilt bashed patch with Wrye Flash NV, choosing to merge patches, import actors (including AIPackages and Death Items), Import Cells, Import Factions, Import graphics, Import Inventory, Import NPC FAces, Import Names, Import Relations, Import Scripts, Import Sounds, Import Stats, Import Weapon Modifications, MErge FormID Lsits, Merge Leveld Lsits, and Merge Race Records.

22. Ran Fallout NV with 4gb fnv

23. Loading screens began playing, than fallout new vegas stopped working, with accompanying error message.

I might try and work this out some more later, but I really am getting sick of this bulls***.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Current load order is, as exported from FOMM, available in a txt file in the below dropbox link

Firstly, you should never run the game with more than 139 active plugins/masters. Any more than that and you are guaranteed to have issues with your game - sooner than later.

Right now, your game crashes before reaching the main menu - this may be UI-related, but not necessarily.

Did FNVEdit report any errors when loading (such as Code: 2 - indicating there are missing masters)?

Did you follow 2much4l1's suggestion and installed UIO?

I know about the don't use 139 or more plugins problem, that's why I was making a bashed patch (I probably messed it up horribly though).

I think it was just the standard bad load order crash.

Nope.

Yes, I did switch from unified hud to UIO.

I've thoroughly mucked it up enough that I doubt it's possible to fix, so I'm just going to reset back to a clean installation of FNV, and start reinstalling mods again, because I can't be bothered to find out where I went wrong.

First time I had infinite load screen turned out to be a lack of memory. I removed mods to get out of the start menu then I removed mods to get out of Doc's house.

The second time I think it was a missing xml file which was fixed by reinstalling uHud, but you ran uHud.

Did you verify "integrity of game cache" in your Steam FNV game?

LOOT and FNVedit are nice tools, but they are limited. They didn't identify my missing xml file or my lack of memory.

Remove mods until you can exit Doc's house. I would start by removing Interior Lighting Overhaul and all its dependents. Project Nevada and all its dependents.

It wasn't an infinite loading screen, it was FNV actually crashing. doesn't really matter now, because I completely reset FNV back to vanilla, and am going to try re installing mods again at a later date.

Thanks for your time though.
