septango1STG Posted January 5, 2015 Share Posted January 5, 2015 about last year I began work on an alt game mod for skyrim set in a late 1800s steampunk fantasy setting, I had been working on the drafts and setting up for it when life struck hard and I wasnt able to continue fast forward to now... now Im in a more stable place and have the time and resources to work on it again, so over the past few weeks Ive been relearning the creation kit and blender Ive been figuring out tricks to cut workload aswell as hunting down tons of modders resources but for this to be the full vision of the project I will need help the help I need is mostly technical and advice but I will probably not say no to any help ----------------------------- a description of the mod (go to the next line to jump to the work stuff) set in an alternate 1800s san francisco where several years prior mysterious black towers rose out of the atlantic ocean, carrying an aincent race of ark keepers, with them secrets of magic and science, this eventually led to the split of the us into 4 countries aswell as an untaken great plains you are a spirit inhabiting a host, connected in a ritual that nither of you intended to be a part of, now tasked with halting the plans of a secret society gameplay wise I want to do something differant, but I dont want to conflict with the main game so it will probably be done by having a differant stat balance in the items in the mod, creating more deadly combat and an incentive to avoid it as well as more non combat gameplay such as puzzles and secrets the main theme of the game is man vs the mind, the battles between the two, as well as the colaborations and mysteries the major insparations for the gameplay are- dark souls, dishonored, metal gear, and the simpsons hit and run and for the setting- bloodborne, over the garden wall, victorian history, dishonored, the evil within, hellboy, ect ------------------------the help needed scripting help modeling just to spread the work around so its not just me (and if im lucky enought to snag you youll be a better modeler than me :P) music would be helpfull but not critical eventually voice actors an animator if possible and someone experienced to consult if you have a skill not listed and want to help dont hesitate to ask ------------------------------------ I can do basic modeling and editing models, Im a good 2d artist so creating textures isnt a problem and plan to do all the map editing but welcome help ----------------------------------- thank you for reading and I Iook forward to any colaboration (I'll post sketches here if I remember to as well) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
