  1. I've tried all this, the only thing I can think of is the dlc order is wrong but cant find any info on it, there really should be a ini download on the site for us idiots *UPDATE, changed it to "bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1" and it worked
  2. after taking a few months break from using the ck to make some art and stuff I come back and now it wont load more than two master files at a time.   3. yeah coming up with an excuse is fun too, I'm considering having the player have a faulty diving suit in one of mine to mute them,
  4. I imagine the abbey would be nomadic, I picture a group of people carrying a smallish steeple carved over the ages with all kinds of reliefs that acts as a central tent post when they set up in a location
  5. dunno, but its not too hard to snip together stuff from ingame lines, wich probably would be your best bet

I've been working around with something of resource/ community a project for a bit and figured Id talk about it I was thinking about all the locations around boston that would be interesting to visit, and how the fact that they are close to boston means that bethesda isn't likely to visit them in future games, thus they exist in a mostly free zone for lore, and stories I then thought about how people in past games have made mods that take place in the same location, but are different worldspaces, and how I kinda wished we could walk from one place into the other then it hit me, perhaps someone could make a free to use set of worldspaces that people could then fill with content, so I set off to it so I figure Id bring it up since the more people who lend a hand the better it would be, Im no master modmaker, though map making isn't the most complex craft as much as it is tedious the world spaces Im planning at this time are cape cod martha's vineyard nantucket the bridgewater triangle the deep glowing sea/ providence (bordering the opposite side of the sea)

I'm trying to make something where you get rewarded in game when you complete the criteria for achievements, but am not sure how to get it to synch up with a profile where someone has already played for a bit like for locks picked, I could track them from a fresh start but don't know if I can track all the locks you picked prior to the mods install is there a way to do this? some in game tracker or something?
  8. the only gripe I've had with the site is the search functions, perhaps adding the ability to search by usage rights
  9. this is the smaller mod, I guess "TC" tends to make people think that its going to be huge thanks and yeah, placeholders as far as the help goes, I dont really expect any but just am putting it out there if someone wishes to donate it "Wouldn't it make more sense to add Skyrim-type features to Fallout 4?" heh yeah, probably
  10. nah, I got this, and really all a TC has to be is an alt start in a new world I figure I'll release it in "episodic" chunks and I really dont want to try to connect the world of TES with Fo the reason Im using skyrim is a whole other thing, this is basically killing two birds with one stone while I build a framework for a different mod so I doubt it will ever be the size of skyrim

  13. thanks, yeah, I know its a lot of work, thats kinda why I asked for help :P and Im trying to work with the engine rather than fight it, for example, the crafting sytem is just a re-skin of the alchemy system, mirroring fallout 4s scavenging system

Heh, says you Fallout is a stetting, Im not out to hard copy 3 and nv, fallout has been everything from an isometric crpg, a first person shooter rpg, an rts, a twin stick shooter, and a micromanagement game actually oddly enough, from what I can and cant do, its actually turning into something closer to fallout 4
  15. Ive been working on making a total conversion in skyrim turning it into a fallout game. I was thinking more like something from the start, such as a bum arm so you cant use that arm on that character, something more dynamic and permanant that a debuff or mabey being mute, and not allowing you to speak or (and I dont know if this would work in skyrim) being blind and actually relying on sound to play I dunno those where just off the top of my head,
  17. cant seem to find a mod that allows you to give your character any disabilities, and was wondering if you knew any or want to make one it would be really cool to be able to make characters with a bum arm, missing eye/ blindness, a cane, ect both for mixing up gameplay as well as rp'ing a character I think and actually find it odd I cant find any

  22. about last year I began work on an alt game mod for skyrim set in a late 1800s steampunk fantasy setting, I had been working on the drafts and setting up for it when life struck hard and I wasnt able to continue fast forward to now... now Im in a more stable place and have the time and resources to work on it again, so over the past few weeks Ive been relearning the creation kit and blender Ive been figuring out tricks to cut workload aswell as hunting down tons of modders resources but for this to be the full vision of the project I will need help the help I need is mostly technical and advice but I will probably not say no to any help ----------------------------- a description of the mod (go to the next line to jump to the work stuff) set in an alternate 1800s san francisco where several years prior mysterious black towers rose out of the atlantic ocean, carrying an aincent race of ark keepers, with them secrets of magic and science, this eventually led to the split of the us into 4 countries aswell as an untaken great plains you are a spirit inhabiting a host, connected in a ritual that nither of you intended to be a part of, now tasked with halting the plans of a secret society gameplay wise I want to do something differant, but I dont want to conflict with the main game so it will probably be done by having a differant stat balance in the items in the mod, creating more deadly combat and an incentive to avoid it as well as more non combat gameplay such as puzzles and secrets the main theme of the game is man vs the mind, the battles between the two, as well as the colaborations and mysteries the major insparations for the gameplay are- dark souls, dishonored, metal gear, and the simpsons hit and run and for the setting- bloodborne, over the garden wall, victorian history, dishonored, the evil within, hellboy, ect ------------------------ the help needed scripting help modeling just to spread the work around so its not just me (and if im lucky enought to snag you youll be a better modeler than me :P) music would be helpfull but not critical eventually voice actors an animator if possible and someone experienced to consult if you have a skill not listed and want to help dont hesitate to ask ------------------------------------ I can do basic modeling and editing models, Im a good 2d artist so creating textures isnt a problem and plan to do all the map editing but welcome help ----------------------------------- thank you for reading and I Iook forward to any colaboration (I'll post sketches here if I remember to as well)
