m3lisk
my character is a lvl 7 ranger, and if you hit the aeylid ruins(Vilveren) outside of prison, there is about ~5000 worth of stuff in there, so I say, raid farms you find on your way to aeylid ruins, cuz they ALWAYS have good stuff. The magicka stones, atrifacts, Varla stones, lots of alchemical ingredients... yup, a ranger's life for me! :P PS- UltimateRanger beta is out! mikelindholm
I like to sneak into peoples houses and steal everything of value. Takes time to get 10 000 g but its fun!
chrisdragon425
Cleaning rich and dead people's places out with my thieves' guild Kahjit....with the extra encumberance mod I carry about 4x to 5x more loot Stripping Bandits and Marauders of their weapons and armor that have most value (Cuirass, shield, weapon) For a newish game, I clean out all those boxes and barrels outside buildings in the Imperial City, with the better prices loot mod, I could net up to several thousand and could buy decent equip at the black market. :) On higher levels, stripping the armor and weapons off dead Dremoras really brings the gold in, I could make 10-25k from selling that stuff! Rhydderch Hael
For a quick boost of 1500-3000 gold (depending on your haggling) every few days, someone skilled at lockpicking can nab the 10 Poisoned Apples in Lucien's quarters within Fort Farragut. You're not stealing, so you can unload them just about anywhere. Very excellent gold-to-weight ratio for a young character who can't carry much (300 base gold versus 0 weight!). Arrows offer good gold-to-weight. The cheapest ones around, Iron arrows, will guarantee you 10 gold per pound no matter what you haggle with a merchant. Malkav33
Well obviously Alchemy is the best way to go...just emptying the various guild halls and selling Restore Fatigue Potions to the Alchemist in Anvil will fetch you a nice amount of money... Also remember that selling Glass/Ebony/Daedric armors will make any merchant's disposition climb to 100 in no time...And selling iron arrows one by one makes bargaining really easy... Necromancers hideouts are usually a good place to rob: most of them carry good weapons and if you sneak they are quite easy to kill, plus they always have all those restore health/magicka potions that can fetch quite a good price... Well earning your first 10k is quite long, but once you're level 10~15 bandits begin to carry nice armor so just travel to the nearest encampment and you'll get some good loot. All in all, just travel on the road between the imperial city and Anvil, with all the bandits (for loot) and Flax (for alchemy), making that trip like three times will get you a nice amount of money If you're good at lockpicking i'd suggest raiding the red diamond jewelry in the IC, you know all those rings and amulets hardly weight anything and they'll fetch a good price... I would also recommend having Azura's star and 50+ in repair armors (I don't know the name of the skill in english) will allow you NOT to have to pay 3k to repair the ebony blade (+3k to refill it): hey to have money, not spending it is a good way, don't you think? crazydave
Personaly I like robbing houses and shops. My advice go for potions and scrolls. they can easily get up to a couple hundred gold per pound. One night I found 18 bottles of scoma in a single house :) .
Mithrandir8
The fastest way to get gold for me exploits a glitch in the quest to cure vamparism. The count will give you 1000 gold everytime you ask him to give you your reward for completing the quest. Besides that, I make quick runs to caves and forts like Rockmilk.
