hey there i just got an issue thats driving me alittle crazy.

I did the quest for the companions and im on the quest The silver hand right after you get your werewolf form (beast form)

Now every time i open the magic menu the game instanty crash to desktop.

Ive tried to wait for 24h and travel to other locations made new saves and reloaded etc nothing works.

Fortunatly i had a hard save right as i accept the beast form.

But i really want to become a werewolf on this character.

Anyone knows whats up?

Edit: I had no problem chaning in to the werewolf on the whiterun rampage but if i open the magic menu during this seequence it altso crashes.

I have pretty many mods but not so many that would interfere with this (i think)

Ex:

Skyui
Skyre
apochalypse spell.

Frostfall

The rest of the mods i use is stuff like

Wyrmstooth
armor mods

CBBE models

Xp maximum skeleton extended

Cities overhaul

and Glorious butt & breast jiggle physx.

Ive tried to deactivate all the mods that i think should interfere with the magic menu but to no avail, ive altso used TOOL and FNIS(for the skeleton mod).

Thanks in advance for any help // Jokkers

EDIT: Found a temporary fix. I installed Moonlight tales Mod that changes how the beast form works from a vanilla perspective. Now i can acces my magic menu again,

I have now removed Beast form from my spell list via Command console and then i can enter my magic menu. I add it back via the command console and the game crashes again when i enter the magic menu.

So it is defenatly the beast form spell. What the hell >.<

Anyone else had this problem?

I have this problem too - i first thought it's because of a custom race, so i started a new game - again - just to find out that this problem has nothing to do with custom races... Hope someone will find a fix soon.

Does anyone know if this happens with vampire form too?

I'm having this issue as well, but only in the Power menu, and it CTDs when I scroll over Beast Form. I did a clean uninstall, and it worked. Now that I installed all of my mods EXCEPT for the Werebear one from Steam (which I thought caused the CTD in the first place), I wasn't getting CTD's until I finished installing all of my old mods. More details here (http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3081974-beast-form-ctd/) Can anyone help?

If you look through the archives here and on the other support sites, you will find that this problem has been around for years and is fairly widespread. So far, the people at Bethesda have done nothing to fix it. It started doing it to me a few days ago. When you try to go into the magic menu, it CTDs. I have seen a LOT of people try a LOT of things and nothing seems to work except starting a new game and wiping out all of your old saves. Although some people have gotten lucky and fixed it by removing and then relearning spells. What really ticks me off is the complete lack of interest the program authors seem to have in fixing a MAJOR gamebreaker. The game can be unstable enough without this stuff happening every time you need to change spells. For me, I only noticed it when I went to change my shout to the Vampire form spell. I have no idea when it actually broke because I had not changed spells in almost 900 saves. It's very frustrating when you see a lot of posts from users having the same major problem and absolutely no help from the designers. I guess that once they have your money, they just don't care. My Daughter tells me they are working on an Elder Scrolls 6. Here is a novel idea for Bethesda... How about fixing thee overpriced mess that is Skyrim, before making a new overpriced bug pile. As for me, I finally gave up, wiped my saves, and started a new game from scratch. There goes hundreds of hours playtime, but it was my only remaining option. Now I am having new fun and games, with it CTDing as soon as I enter the first town at the beginning of the game.
