Razakel
I've been trying to make this myself and the concept looks pretty cool. The problem is I'm not quite experienced enough with blender to mix the meshes correctly and tidy up all the clipping issues. If someone likes the idea and wants to make a playable version that'd be awesome. http://i858.photobucket.com/albums/ab145/JNCJNC/Oblivion0.jpg http://i858.photobucket.com/albums/ab145/JNCJNC/Oblivion1.jpg http://i858.photobucket.com/albums/ab145/JNCJNC/Oblivion2.jpg With the above obviously it would need the hood mesh to be merged with it. It also has an issue with the neck and would need a bit to cover that. http://i858.photobucket.com/albums/ab145/JNCJNC/Oblivion3.jpg http://i858.photobucket.com/albums/ab145/JNCJNC/Oblivion4.jpg http://i858.photobucket.com/albums/ab145/JNCJNC/Oblivion5.jpg The thigh plates would have to go and I can't manage to get rid of the cloth area left over. http://i858.photobucket.com/albums/ab145/JNCJNC/Oblivion6.jpg http://i858.photobucket.com/albums/ab145/JNCJNC/Oblivion7.jpg http://i858.photobucket.com/albums/ab145/JNCJNC/Oblivion8.jpg That shows the clipping issues. There's a screenshot I forgot to take that shows a big gap between the shoulders of the robes and armour. http://i858.photobucket.com/albums/ab145/JNCJNC/Oblivion9.jpg That just shows what the concept would look like. Looks pretty cool huh?
Sorgren
Hey, time ago I wanted to do the same and I couldn´t, that looks mighty damn good!
Razakel
Just bumping this to give it one last shot at being made. I guess if no-one wants to do it one of these days I'll learn how to model in blender and get Photoshop and try myself.
LHammonds
Seems like a big chunk of the work to fix the problems would just be using the proportional editing mode and grabbing a few verts here and there to push and pull everything so they are layered correctly. Here is what it looks like when you have proportional mode on when you grab a single vertex and move it: http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee11/Conan_Lon/Blender/ProportionalEditing.jpg You can adjust the area it affects by using the mouse wheel to zoom the focus in and out.
