uggbug
With hopefully a quick answer! *badum tish* Seriously though, I've run into a snag with some modified armor I put together in 3dsmax. I'll be as brief as possible. http://imgur.com/a/lchce The first three images are of the Dunmer Outfit with the high res DLC and all that. Nice and smooth right? Then the last three are the modified version of this armor, which is a horribly blocky trainwreck. I went wrong somewhere, and I'm not sure where. I'm no modding whiz, and I'm sure I've missed or improperly executed something in 3dsmax or Nifskope, I just don't know what. I beseech you fine ladies and gentlemen for some guidance. uggbug
No ideas? In the meantime I have discovered that what seems to have caused this is saving it in .max format for later, then opening it up again causes the gross blocky mesh. I don't know how I missed it before. Still no idea how to fix said mistake, but at least the why has been discovered. Always export!
Kraeten
In NifSkope you can smooth normals for a quick easy fix.
