The problem button

A button. That you press when your problem has been solved. I'm having trouble thinking of a way to describe it. You know, when you post a problem, you select the "problem button" and a little symbol is shown by your post. And when you have gotten your solution you press the "Problem solved button" and a new icon shows telling everyone that the problem is solved. That way you don't go into a threat, read the first couple of posts, getting ready to post and then you see that the problem has already been solved.

Any thoughts?

Or you can just click the REPORT button and ask for the thread to be closed.

Or edit your post and put something like [sOLVED] in the title. :thumbsup:

Only a moderator can edit the title of the topic once it is created...but yes, the original poster can always edit the 1st post to let everyone know it was solved...and it would be nice if they gave a brief summary of the solution or a direct link to the post describing it.
