Semberflay
I've made myself a rather pretty retexture (if I do say so myself) of the Amber longsword, and I was wondering if anyone would be willing to remesh it slightly: The blade of the amber sword is far too wide: if someone could thin the blade so that the main body of the blade is no wider than the metal circle that is part of the hilt, I would appreciate it. While they're at it, if there's any way they can make it so that the blade is the only part of the sord that's shiny (I've fixed the normal maps, this is definitely a mesh seting) and not the hilt, I'd be even more grateful. Remember, kudos!
ub3rman123
I'll see what I can do. Edit: Here's the thinned up sword. I'll get to the textures in a minute. 'nother edit: Texture done. I don't know if this worked to lower the handle's gloss, so you'll have to test it out. I just took an eraser to bits of the normal map. Can I assume you know how to redirect textures and just give you the normal map?MediaFire linkYou'll have to copy the original amber longsword texture, paste and rename it in a new location, paste the new normal map and rename it the same with _n at the end, then use NifSkope to redirect the texture to it before you get to see how horribly I likely butchered the normals. Semberflay
Oh, sure, I know normal mas, in fact I've already made a normal map for this! Like I said, the glossiness is a mesh issue, not a normal map issue. But thank you for the mesh! It looks perfect for what I'm aiming for! You rock! Have a kudo! Semberflay
Actually, I've been wondering: is there any way someone (not only thw wonderous Uberman, but anyone) could remvoe the rings from the mesh Uberman modified, and add to the sword a scabbard, perhaps the Ebony Longsword scabbard? And perhaps extend the sword's length to longsword length so it fits?
Deleted1848331User
I can take a look at the scabbard and see if I can add the length. Highly unlikely with the length lol.

Deleted1848331User
I think I can leave it to uberman to fix up the sword in nifscope... lol.
Semberflay
Hey, I like it. Well, it'd be neat if the sword came out of the scabbard, but now I can club baby seals to death with it! And there looks to be an odd tear in the sword blade near the hilt. Did that happen when removing the circly... wossname? Hah, wossnames! Wossy wossy wossnames! Sorry. Been watching too much Sheogorath.
Deleted1848331User
Ah... I remember the Druchii sword I believe uberman made. HE said it wouldnt come out of the scabbard so I asked if I could have it as a blunt weapon lol. I don't think he ever saw that post lol. I'll leave it to someone to fix it lol. I could probably go back into blender and split the sword from the scabbard, but then I'd probably jack up something else. But I'll look for those tears now :D edit There aren't any tears I can see. You sure there are any?
Semberflay
Actually, when I looked ingame, there didn't seem to be any tears. Go figure. My eyes playing tricks on me!
