I once dreamed that I was in my parents' bedroom. No-one else was there and everything in the room was coloured a shade of blue. I was lying on the bed, staring at the ceiling. On the ceiling was a grid of yellow dots. Which were being slowly connected by blue lines.

I woke up terrified. Somehow.

I've never been able to make sense of that dream.

YOu weren't doing any pathgridding the day before, were you?

I still stand by it being a pathgridding nightmare. I once had a dream like that after Ispent a whole day pathgridding up SFK. I was wandering about and the entire world was covered in a horribly made pathgrid.

A while back, I had a dream where my wife (Back when she was my gf :) ), me and a bunch of others were shooting up some aliens similar to the enemies in Dead Space.

Then one of the other guys had a massive freakout and pulled a machete on me, another man went to pull him away and he got stabbed, lifted into the air and thrown into a wall, then machete man started transforming into a demon resembling the others, only a lot bigger, and the last man other than me and my wife killed it with a huge flamethrower.

I woke up practically convulsing...

Please note, Dead Space, The Thing and alcohol for 20 hours straight do not mix under any circumstances.

After reading this I felt a touch of sensitivity. I wondered if the guy who turned into the machete man was the one making all the runs to keep your refrigerator full of cold ones. The iceman! You melted him down with fire.

While for me today, beside the fact I am suffering from cold or flu like systems,  it appeared to me in dream sleep that I flew through the air momentarily. I sensed a controlled fall that ended up with me standing up into a pile of gravel I had plowed into.

I wonder if it has anything to do with a quarry where they grind up the area to make gravel to mix with cement and make stairs. I distinctly remember bounding down three flights of, outdoor style, concrete stairs just before going into a run, leaping through the air, and plowing to a halt like a style a snow skier uses turning their ski's to assist them to come to a halt. :woot:

I felt the exhilaration and thrill as my senses teamed with them. I awakened just as I sensed disappointment, as it seemed someone was calling out, "Time to go to work!"

There is a quarry in Fallout New Vegas. Hmm? :ermm:

So! AliasTheory! Here's one I haven't really got a notion as to what it could mean. I am familiar with horse types. I knew a woman that had an Appaloosa she named, "Jackpot."

Here's the dream: I could see an Appaloosa standing in a living room with a picture window off to the other side of it from my point of view. There was some other animal between it and the windowed area that could have been her friends Arabian horse. I felt my limbs shoot out and saw them kick the Appaloosas' front two legs so they buckled and the horse fell sideways with its head toward me and hoofs toward the white horse.

The thing I noted that shocked me out of slumbering in dream sleep was, "the extended feet or hands I thought were mine, were hoofed too."

Was it just an old phrase which included some slang for horsing around?
