evilneko
Old machine huh? Wow, that memory is REALLY old. XP can run on it, for sure, but it won't be a very fast machine. I'd say either linux or slap 98 on and use it to play old games. Mmm, Syndicate, System Shock, original DOOM...

Gishank
If you want to use it, I'd advise putting uBuntu on it. Though really that PC is far too outdated to prove useful.
Illiad86
oh my hehe...pretty much the same specs as my boyfriend's computer when I met him...lol I thought it was godly, pwned my poor laptop :( Ubuntu would run reasonably decent on it. If you threw in an extra 512 stick of RAM in it, XP would run pretty well :)
evilneko
If you could find one for a decent price, anyway. He'd probably have to go to a used electronics store or ebay. Might get lucky, but might also end up paying 30-40 bucks for it.
paganwannbe
why would I go out and spend 50 bucks for a 512 when we have a bunch of old junkers in our house some where.(I guess that explains why my computer sucks don't it) I love junking
evilneko
:D I got a few junkers lying around too. I haven't thrown an old computer away since my 286... and I'm not even sure about that one. I think I might still have its motherboard lying around somewhere. Its case is in the garage.
