grandpauj1
I did a search, But came up empty. Is there a way to change a setting so the screen shots saved in the skyrim folder, (The "print sceen" Not the "F12" saves) to Jpg not bmp? I take alot of them and seems kinda silly to save 5.04 MB bmp vs 250 KB JPG. Thanks in advance for any help
grandpauj1
It is real hard to belive that out of all the people on the nexus that I can not get a answer on this question. A simple yes or no will suffice, end of question, End of topic. Thanks
Gunthral
Why not using Bandicam? The "normal" way can't save your screenshots in another format as far as I'm knowing. If you want to take some money, FRAPS is really worth the money (at least from my viewpoint).Anyway it should be noted that even with that screenshots with an target towards quality shouldn't be taken directly to a jpg (compression). Rabbit1251
Try InfranView (http://www.irfanview.com/). It won't download in jpg, but it will batch convert all of your bmp's to jpg's. You can view the game's dds files also with a plugin. Plus it's free and works on 64 bit machines. Rabbit
grandpauj1
@ Gunthral, I got Bandicam. Works pretty good, Don't do the video thing, But the screen shot works great and saves in JPG. Thanks @ Rabbit51, I went to the link you provided. Took me there, But as with any"FREE" download looks like you get the addded feature (Download.com, Fileforum, Techspot, Ect.) I myself would rather pay to install a program then have unwanted programs on my computer. But thanks for the link. Do you know of one that will batch convert without the added stuff? Again thanks for the help
grandpauj1
@ Rabbit51 I decided to try the IrfanVeiw program (Just did it on a computer I don't use much) and am very impressed. It will take 20/30/40 files at a time and convert all from BMP to JPG at one time and fast like.......a rabbit. If I don't get much interference while using, Might try it on my game computer, better then transferring the files back and forth. Thanks a bunch
Comicalis
I know this is a bit late but I'll post this anyway for anyone (like me) who tries to find an answer to this question via google and ended up here. After a lot of searching I found out if you use ENB, there should be a file in the FO4 (or Skyrim etc) folder called enblocal.iniIn there you go to the bottom where it says [FILE] ScreenshotFormat=0And change "0" to "2" I can't make promises of course, but this should work. Now FO4 saves screenshots automatically as jpegs (eventhough in-game it still says "screenshot saved as ____.png). I hope this helps at least some people out.
