Mart's Monster Mod - Diverse Creature Skins.esp

DLCShiveringIsles.esp

I've been working on this all day, and I'm getting nowhere. First thing I did after downloading/extracting all these was run BOSS, and it put everything in an order that didn't work. So I've been using guides and tweaking it, and it just doesn't start. Is it the load order, or am I trying to run incompatible mods?

Well, I always have SI towards the top of my list... guess that's just me.

I'm noticing a severe lack of Blood&Mud, so Open Cities Full + Bravil Blood&Mud.esp probably doesn't need to run.

Actually, that might be your issue. You probably either run Open Cities Full.esp or Open Cities Full + Bravil Blood&Mud.esp; running them both together would probably generate something akin to a quick CTD. Disable Open Cities Full + Bravil Blood&Mud.esp and see what happens.

Apologies if I'm off; I don't use too many overhaul-esque mods.

HorseCombatMaster.esm should be the last ESM loaded. Other than that nothing looks out of place. I suggest removing all mods and trying "Vanilla" Oblivion. Vanilla simply means no mods added, as is out of the box, but with patches of course. See if that works. If the game runs without any mods added then you know it's got something to do with the mods. If it still doesn't run without any mods it's either hardware related or a bad install. Post a DXDIAG so we can get some information.

Yeah, the game runs without any mods. I think I've narrowed it down to Open Cities, and MMM. If I disable those two, it runs. If either of them are active, it CTD immediately. Compatibility issue?

Oh, I don't know if this'll help, but Wrye Bash says that an element of MMM (can't remember which one at the moment, but it's not on that list and it has 'OOO' in its name) won't work because it's missing a master file. That would be the OOO esm that isn't present, wouldn't it? But OOO itself seems to work just fine without it.

If you have the latest version of Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, then you are missing the master file, and that is why the game is crashing.

Would you post your mod list via Wrye Bash, please? And make sure your paste EVERYTHING, including the Spoiler and Code boxes.

The main things I wanted to see was CPU, RAM, and GPU. I was just ruling out the unsupported onboard video card. So you covered everything except the GPU. But if it's running without mods then I'm going to assume you have a capable card. I still wouldn't mind confirmation. As Hickory said though, post your current LO from Wrye Bash. Mods tab > Right click Load Order header > List Mods. Copypasta all of that here. If the game runs fine without mods you'll just have to narrow down which mods causes the crash. Add them to your game one by one and see how it goes. Still post your LO though, we might be able to identify the problem right off the bat, as Hickory has attempted already.

since you are using the UOP and the USIP is there any particular reason you are not using the Unofficial Official Mods patch (knights ain't patched)

BTW run your load order through BOSS (as found on tesnexus) the order you've posted in the first and forth post clearly weren't sorted.
