New to Modding I need help

Well first off thank you to the mod community for keeping this game fresh. My problem here is I wanted several mods and I cannot for the life of me get my fallout to stop crashing when using mods. I believe my pc can handle it so why is this such an issue. I have no idea witch mods are compatible together and have no idea how anyone can determin witch mods need to be installed before others. I followed this guide EXACTLY and still failed : gamersnexus.net/gg/1508-fallout-3-graphics-content-mod-overhaul

I dont get it? I followed it exactly all the mods even appear to have loaded correctly and the post was in 2014 so I figured it would be current. Why is there not a complete mod package in a single download? I cannot for the life of me understand how after following the directions to the T I still crash constantly and get textures wigging out.

So if anyone here can help me out would be great. So you understand what Im looking for, I want a realistic fallout experience. Most of the mods on that site are basically what Im looking for other than the texture pack because it kinda disapointed me. I wanted the backpack mod and the flashlight mod would be cool if there was some special dog mods, I like the having a sister mod, I like the realism mod but Im at your guys mercy here.No combination of mods work for me period.I seen the extra perks mod shows up in pip boy with no images to go with half the perks and I feel like they should be there. Google just isnt cutting it for me. I have the script extender, I already had the large adress aware and am familiar with using it so I know I did that correctly, I have the stutter remover ect, I installed everything in the order the site tell you to and the game even loads all the mods and allows me to play for a few minutes as if its going to work then just crashes. I honestly cant describe enough how much I am baffled that it is not working after I followed the directions correctly, it took HOURS to put it all together and I know its going to take hours upon hours to fix this again. Game is still stuttering even with fallout stutter remover, I still need the cd to play even with the patch that site has me get. Is there any other recomended mod pack? Can someone direct me to a LEGIT list of mods to get THE BEST fallout 3 experience and a LEGIT guide to installing ALL OF THEM TOGETHER? Or does that not exist? Again if these mods should all be used together for the best experience why are they not all put in a single download followed with a single installation? Wouldnt that make everything easier?!?! How does anyone know what mods work together and this saposed ORDER they are to be installed in? It just seems like it is far more complicated than it needs to be, but Im not a mod developer so I guess I wouldnt know. Im just basing that off the fact I have modded tons of other games without ever having to ask for help including games like skyrim, and they were all far more simplistic than this.

First question, does the game start and run with no mods?

See "How to ask for help" http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1592053-how-to-ask-for-help/

"Installing Fallout 3 with Windows 7/8" http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1465357-installing-fallout-3-with-windows-78-and-xp/

"Fallout 3 modding and you" http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/652876-fallout-3-modding-and-you/

There are currently 13,581 mod files available for Fallout 3. A guide to installing any combination of mods would be impossible.

I have a brand new ibuypower with an ib5 processor and 8gb of ram. Do you really need more than that? I dont understand why you couldnt answer at least a couple of my questions without needing more info. I provided a website that has a guide to installing a list of mods that makes fallout 3 more realistic in every way, did you look at the site I provided? Is that the most current way? All Im trying to do is make fallout 3 more realistic. I already told you that the game LITERALLY loads all of the mods and allows me to play with slight stuttering then will just random crash. So with that being said Im assuming the issue could be with the stuttering? Or is there something Im missing. Again I followed the site I provided to the T. The nexus community doesnt have a guide similar to the site I provided?

So to spell it out, I am looking for a list of mods, that your community has agreed, when put together, create a fresh and immersive/realistic fallout experience. And hopefully I can add just a couple mods on top of that. And I already asked but Ill ask again, according to the site i provided, the mods on the sites list, have to be installed in a certain order for them to work, so again, how does one know what order to install mods in and again how does one know what mods work together?

Also I am using literally everything the site directs me to so you already have literally the exact steps I followed with the exact mods and downloads I used. Maybe you could look and see on that site if the guide is wrong?

If all you want is to play a game - then mods are probably not for you. It takes a lot of time and effort, plus a little knowledge of how computers work to get a lot of mods to work together - Mods are not made by large companies with a lot of people or a lot of assets and testing. They are made by game players, often a mod is the first piece of programming they have ever attempted - and it may not be perfect or play nice with a hundred other mods also made by amateur programmers. If you insist on using mods you can expect things to not work all the time and take that into account while playing. It WILL crash. It will cause frustration. There is no comprehensive all encompassing set of step by step instructions because it doesn't work that way. Instead we have tools, again made mostly by non professionals to try to help - the best one for basic load order is LOOT. it is NOT a mod and does not either install like a mod or work like a mod - so read the documentation.
