Odd errors

Heya people,

So I've downloaded a few mods, downloaded OBMM and OBSE. Whenever I run the game VIA OBSE Launcher or OBMM, the game loads up, I get to the main menu and it is completely blank. I use the arrow keys to enter my quick save and I enter the world of Oblivion to see that there are absolutely no textures, only the occasional torch and distant tree. Here are my mods in load order.

Oblivion.esm

DLCShiveringIsles.esp

Knights.esp

_burning_kvatch.esp

_dark_dungeons.esp

IllumanationWithin.esp

fadingtorches v1.3b.esp

Natural_Water_by_Max_Tael.esp

Natural_ Habitat_by_Max_Tael.esp

Natural_Vegetation_by_Max_Tael.esp

Natural_Weather_with_darker_nights_by_Max_Tael

Oblivion Graphics Extender Support.esp

Now, when I run the game through the default Oblivion launcher, all of the mods work (I am assuming they work because it is running through Data Files?) except the Oblivion Graphics Extender Support.esp. I've gone and done everything the readme tells me to do and it just doesn't work.

Although, when I do run oblivion through OBMM or OBSE and I access my inventory (Tab Menu ingame) I can see the little inventory item for Oblivion Graphics Extender, which means that it is working... somewhat. So my only real problem is fixing this odd issue.

Thanks for any help that I get. ^^

P.S. Screenies attached

Most likely culprit - OBGE

What was the last mod you installed before this started?

If you installed them all at once - well, that sort of makes troubleshooting difficult. But here is a troubleshooting helper. Bben's Oblivion Revert to Vanilla game

http://www.tesnexus.com/articles/article.php?id=340

Get the game working without mods, then add OBSE and OBMM and get it working with them. Test with the OBSE launcher and Oblivion Launcher. Now add OBGE and see if you can get it to work. (none of these are mods they are all utilities)

Now add one mod and test - DON'T add any more until that one works. Then add them one at a time. Back up your data folder (copy it to another folder) after each 3 or 4 mods so you will have a stable game to come back to. If you have a problem you will know which mod caused it.

After you have about a dozen mods, get and use BOSS to help set load order.

Hiya,

Well I've done all that and it appears that OBGE is what's causing the problems. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, doing everything it's telling me to do. I reinstalled Oblivion with guidance from your article here http://www.tesnexus.com/articles/article.php?id=240 so I've got a bunch of backups and it's not installed in Program Files.

Not sure what to do. ^_^

Of course if there is no fix for this then I'll have to ditch OBGE which isn't that much of a problem but it would be a brilliant addition to my game so all help is very much appreciated. ;)

Thanks

I had a problem like that with OBGE except in mine everything was transulcent.

I ended fixed it by installing oblivion on a differnet pc then copy everthing (except for the saves) in MyDocuments/MyGames/Oblivion folder on the second pc to usb and put these files in the 1st pc MyDocuments/MyGames/Oblivion folder.

Back up your ALL your oblivion stuff. (If this make it worse sorry)
