magicgraduate Posted January 20, 2015 Share Posted January 20, 2015 (edited) I recently started a new playthrough and have built up most of Windstad Manor already. In this playthrough I'm utilizing Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions, AFT and My Home Is Your Home so have multiple children and followers living there. I'm also already using Simple Hearthfire Attics and Shezrie's Kitchens. I've built the Bedroom wing and the Armory wing but really have no use for any of the North wing options. My character's not an alchemist so the alchemy tower's a bit useless and it's the most useful out of the three anyway. What I'd really like to have is the Alchemy wing turned into a Library, with the lower storage area left as is, since it's now connected to the kitchen area due to Shezrie's Kitchens, and the upstairs area with three or four more bookshelves and perhaps a chair or two if they'll fit. Then in the cellar there's that little alcove that looks like it was designed for another room. A follower's room with four or five beds and some sitting areas would work perfectly there. The Lakeview Basement Bedroom does this really well but I am unsure how you would connect it to Windstad. Edit: Figured out how to copy The Lakeview Basement Bedroom to Windstad in Creation Kit. :smile: Also in the Armory it'd be nice if there were places for all the unique items such as for Dragon Priest masks, Daedric weapons, etc. Its possible all these things are fairly simple to make and I could do them myself but I'm really not familiar with the Creation Kit and wouldn't know where to begin in changing a room around. If anyone's interested in making these or if someone could point me to a tutorial or guide on how to do it myself I'd really appreciate it. magicgraduate Posted January 20, 2015 Author Share Posted January 20, 2015 True, though I haven't built up the areas I want to modify. :) So I figured out how to do a copy paste of The Lakeview Basement Bedroom to Windstad in Creation Kit. It wasn't too bad though the CK's still pretty confusing. Anyway if anyone has any advice on how to add some bookcases to the top level of the Alchemy wing and how to maybe add some unique item holders, Dragon Priest mask display, Dragon Claw display, etc, to the Armory or Entryway I'd appreciate it.
