chucksteel
I've already begun work on "The NVInteriors Project." http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/biggrin.gif Since I don't want to bring down the wrath of the moderators upon myself or, tick off "Dark0ne" by posting a place holder, I'm making the announcement here. http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/thumbsup.gif I've started to dig through the new GECK plotting and, planning this new project. It will have all of the things you've come to expect from DCInteriors. Unique, fully developed shops, homes. Custom collectable items to decorate you homes, scavenge-able skeletons, cars, crates and, what not. One fun idea I have is to turn ovens, BBq grills and, other objects into crafting stations. There are many machine tools such as drill presses. that could be turned into something cool. With what I've learned from working on DCInteriors I'm going to do it better this time around. I'm going to have a NVInteriors Core file which will contain all assets needed for the mod. Followed by Modular districts, until I have an FNVPlugin to easily merge them into two simple plugins. This should cut down on some of the redundancy we experienced in DCInteriors. (Yes, I know it was my bad but, I didn't know better until it was to late to go back and, fix. There were just way to many forms to strip out , Reorganize!) http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/wallbash.gif I've already got a little tread going on the beth forums which you can find here. NVInteriors Project Thanks for everyones support and, feedback. chuck
RideTheCatfish
Good to hear you're back at it. Can't wait! I'm actually doing something a bit like this, though I'm filling in some of the buildings in the desert more than anywhere else. Your mods have always been an inspiration. leon0078
I swear to god I was about to begin a similar mod myself, because I honestly thought you were not going to! I was about to start scouting the AREAS AROUND NEW VEGAS and FREESIDE *wink-wink* to see all the possible buildings I could create interiors for. Glad to see you're on the job! I installed DC interiors 2 months ago and I haven't explored half of them! They make really nice hideouts btw :)

chronosmagus
Looking forward to you work! There's so many boarded up buildings in New Vegas that there's certainly plenty room for improvement. If I'm not mistaking you're not the author of the current 'New Vegas Interiors' mods on the nexus right? http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36680http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36680http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36680 Since those are done more or less in the same style as you've done for F3, I'd love to have both at least compatible (by not working on the same areas). Perhaps even teaming up?
Deleted1744345User
I loved DC Interiors in Fallout 3 and I'm eager to see what you have to offer this time around. When I was exploring the Mojave, the thing that annoyed me the most was that 95% of the buildings were borded up. Because of that, I was able to finish the game in a quarter of the time it took to finish Fallout 3. Another thing is that who would take all that time to board up all those buildings? It's unrealistic and Bethesda should have just used rubble piles to cover doors at least. On a positive note, good luck on NV Interiors as it would vastly improve this game. Daynox
OOooohhh YYAaaaaa! Im a HUGE fan of your DC Interiors for FO3.I am eagerly awaiting your fine work for NV as like others have said a full blown NV Interiors mod would GREATLY inhance this game as interiors are...lacking to say the least. Cant wait to see more of your killer work. Daynox

luthienanarion
I'm very glad to hear that you're doing this for NV. Sweeping streets door-to-door for loot is something I miss from FO3 with DCInteriors.
Daynox
Sweeping streets door-to-door for loot is something I miss from FO3 with DCInteriors. i hear ya there. I just totally loved going door to door wondering what or who would be waiting for me on the other side as i scaved for some decent loot. But it was all the stuff that you were able to collect as well. The books, toys...everything! The DCInteriors mod is the only mod i think that i put on everyone of my pc's to use. 5 pc's with 5 different OS's because Vista is just a huge bloody failure. Anywho...Im sure Chucksteel wont dissapoint! Its fine work he does   Daynox
