Gishank
Hi.So after playing New Vegas rather addictively I decided I would go back and do ED-E's sidequest (already repaired ED-E, just not had it as a companion), now I know you go to Gibson scrapyard after talking with Old Lady Gibson about HELIOS One I got a prompt from ED-E and the quest advanced with something along the lines of "ED-E has data that is stored and can be triggered by phrases", now my best bet was to go to HELIOS One and check around there (already completed it's quest before-hand), yet found nothing and I've run out of ideas. I remember finding an old Enclave bunker to the north which required a passphrase to enter, not sure if it's related to ED-E. Help? lol

Gishank
I discovered Hidden Valley and did the BoS quest to get the holodisks from the patrols (with ED-E) however it hasn't provoked any additional logs.

SupaLolCat
Looks like the Prima New Vegas Strategy Guide, probably a scan/digital copy.
kevikev
Yeah, the strategy guide flowchart is all well and good if you haven't started the quest yet but doesn't cover the myriad of "What If" situations if you've completed various quest steps out of order. My first playthrough, I was able to complete the side quest but after going through the BoS steps first on my current playthrough, I can't seem to get ED-E to trigger the 2nd log by using all of the steps (Ignacio, ARCHIMEDES terminal, Michael Angelo Medical Check, Arcade Gannon dialog). Something in the conversation keyed a response from ED-E. I now have the two options of reporting to the Followers or the BoS.
XxMegamanxX
http://i55.tinypic.com/2u6ig6e.png Seriously, I really didn't needed to go to the guy in the HELIOS one. But I came to Michael Angelo (from vault 21).

Olgark
A question about this quest. Can you get both upgrades for ED-E or is it only the one ?
