hlvr
I just watched some videos from Morrowind, demonstrating the effect of some MGE Water Shaders. Here, worship them you too :) Now, I wonder... why doesn't Oblivion have stuff like this? Is it possible to create? Even with good mods like Enhanced Water, Oblivion's water still looks like soup compared to this  It would be like a dream come true if Oblivion got this water; hence, I made this mod request! Slawter500
Because Morrowind is clearly the superior game? http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/tongue.gif Morrowind had great water effects to begin with, problem is, with great water mods out there, it's not something feel needs recreation. Anyway, there are many water shader mods. (You mentioned Enhanced Water, there are a couple of extras for it which you may like?) Enhanced Water - SI Enhanced Water - HDMI Natural Enviroments - Natural Water included (Very highly recommended) Less known LinkLink Link Improved Water Link Link
AmpolX
Oblivion cannot make use of new water shaders...yet ;) MGE had lots of room to work with while developing the code transfer from DX8 to DX9 inorder to get MGE. Try looking up the OBGE project at the BGSF. We managed to unlock fullscreen shaders like Godrays and SSAO so new water could be next...once ShadeMe unlocks the Shadow system...(which he already has :P)
Thor.
There is one Water Effect you forgot to mention, there is a mod left out that adds super HD water tessellation to Oblivion. Its simply named Water, But it gives the allusion of waves in Oblivion. Edited August 23, 2011 by Thor.
shotgun188
There is one Water Effect you forgot to mention, there is a mod left out there that adds super HD water tessellation to Oblivion. Its simply named Water, But it gives the allusion of waves in Oblivion. It's name is wavy water and the mod has two problems 1.You know the water lod of in the distance?that looks exactly the same as before so it is weird seeing one part of the water look different 2.It is impossible to see reflections on the water with the mod on. p.s To make wavy water better use it with enhanced water hd.
