dragoona43
So i am having problems with the mod manager's in both oblivion and fallout 3. Every time i try to install a mod using them, it says i do not have administrative rights. i have tried making a new account with the administrative rights to no effect. i recently upgraded to a computer with windows 7 instead of windows xp, so i am wondering if this may have something to do with it. slygothmog
Try right clicking on the Mod Manager and choosing the option Run as administrator....see if that works.
Hickory
Oblivion Mod Manager does not require administrative rights, but it DOES need access to Oblivions folders. When you install Oblivion to the default protected Program Files folder structure, Oblivion and utilities like OBMM have problems. Solution? Uninstall Oblivion and reinstall outside of Program Files. somewhere like C:\Games\Oblivion .
