You know the mechanics, just a different story and views. I've enjoyed FO in all of its incarnations. Yes, even at this short time since the release there are some very nice mods to tinker with. I actually like this version a little better than 3.
Tendril
I think so. I'm lovin it. It's more Fallout, and truer to it than FO3 was IMO. It seems more immersive; I almost never use VATS because the iron sights work well and are cool. I think it will have more replay value than FO3
manho221
I love the game (PC version). Im giving it a run without mods first like I did with F3. Then next time out I will mod the crap out of it :D just giving the community some time to really doll it up pretty then I will mod. It's a great game on it's own. I especially enjoy the wild west perk !
JCHR
I'm modding the game playing hardcore (don't kill me!) and I must say it makes hardcore more ENJOYABLE to play rather than going vanilla hardcore, which is very painful.
C0rrup73d
I lost all interest in it. Tbh I like 3 better.
coralfang
You can backup the game before modding through steam
Rendan
I love the Voice Acting and the companions as well as hardcore mode.

Ah, and the hardcore mod... simple, but great! Makes it much harder.
