caravan broken?

I have just done prim, and got down to the south west base, i am lvl 9 as i am exploring everything under the sun in each area and hording loads of crap. I end up filling up the bags sleeping for 3 days let the shops rebirth selling everything, Then winning all my money back in an easy game of caravan the question is:

 

is the game broken as the NPC's never use face cards against you?

 

i am sitting on nearly 40,000 caps and around 5000 ammo at lvl9 lol

i am playing on norm at the moment do i need to up the setting for the NPC's to play any better?

you must be playing the worst caravan player around because ive had face cards and jokers used against me.

I've only played several games and I haven't seen face cards played against me. There is also another bug for pc that bought cards are not usable.

i have never lost. i use a simple i guess you could call strat. The guys at rooster teeth on youtube have a video of it. but what i do is i make my cards only have 10's 9's and 7's and on the first move you just get rid of the rest of the cards you have that are not those so you have just 3 of each left in your hand. what you do then is just get two of the columns up to 26 in descending order like this 10, 9, 7. usually the pc only cars about one column at a time so you just go on the ones hes not.

 

so this makes me think that caravan is just way to easy especially when the pc bets right off the bat over 1000 caps.
