How about FALLOUT:NEW VEGAS MOD MANAGER?

In XP pro I go to C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data and the plugin notepad there and change the load order manually

# This file is used by Fallout NV to keep track of your downloaded content.

# Please do not modify this file.

The two lines from above or usually above the load order in both NV and Fallout 3, I've back spaced out those lines with the # infront, but sometimes they go away on there own

FalloutNV.esm

TribalPack.esm

MercenaryPack.esm

ClassicPack.esm

CaravanPack.esm

Fellout.esp

Advanced Recon Armor-Location Doc Mitchell.esp

Advanced Recon Gear-Locations Doc Mitchell.esp

Better Binoculars Max.esp

CaravanCardFix.esp

Centered 3rd Person Camera.esp

noautoaim.esp

NoDegradation.esp

nokarmalossforstealing.esp

PerkEveryLevel.esp

skeleton_key.esp

speed glasses.esp

FreeplayafterMQNVv1_6.esp

I've done this a lot with my Fallout 3 plugin notepad located in the same part of my PC in the past and had no problems!..

Are you sure it works? i get this when trying to open fallout mod manager:

" Error

Could not find fallout 3 directory

Fallout's registry entry appear to be missing or incorrect. Install fomm into

fallout's base directory instead."

This is how my settings document looks like:

<settings>

<window name="MainForm" left="100" top="100" width="549" height="600" maximized="false" />

<strValue name="MainFormPanelSplit">402</strValue>

<strValue name="MainFormCol1Width">219</strValue>

<strValue name="MainFormCol2Width">87</strValue>

<strValue name="FalloutDir">C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\</strValue>

</settings>

Works fine. Better as setting up the tutorial with the FOMM.

For Win7 Users, the path:

C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\FalloutNV

Have fun. =)

i think you guys are onto something with the conversion of FOMM to FO:NV MM. ...very clever stuff man. ...and in reply to zzmoondasherzz, pretty much ANY mod can make your game experience bug and crash.. thats the ONLY downside to mods, imo. ..it all depends on the stability of the mod, and if you have any overlapping meshes, from what i hear. ..but regardless, im sure they'll make a new vegas mod manager soon enough.. theyre already bringing in a lot of the old mods from fallout 3.. why would they leave the MOST important one out?? ..ya kno what im saying?

LOST seems to be a sorting tool and Wrye Bash is a really mighty tool and was made for Oblivion and converted by a gifted modder....

Hopefully one of these tools helps you out of your misery....

Both tools are able to change load order.....

Good Luck.....

From Elder Scrolls wikia:

Drag and Drop

* Drag the mods to the load position you want.
