ghostfc3s
As far as invalidor.txt goes I found that it works without it with no issues in new vegas so I don't know if you even need one?
Craigsters
In XP pro I go to C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data and the plugin notepad there and change the load order manually # This file is used by Fallout NV to keep track of your downloaded content.# Please do not modify this file. The two lines from above or usually above the load order in both NV and Fallout 3, I've back spaced out those lines with the # infront, but sometimes they go away on there own FalloutNV.esmTribalPack.esmMercenaryPack.esmClassicPack.esmCaravanPack.esmFellout.espAdvanced Recon Armor-Location Doc Mitchell.espAdvanced Recon Gear-Locations Doc Mitchell.espBetter Binoculars Max.espCaravanCardFix.espCentered 3rd Person Camera.espnoautoaim.espNoDegradation.espnokarmalossforstealing.espPerkEveryLevel.espskeleton_key.espspeed glasses.espFreeplayafterMQNVv1_6.esp I've done this a lot with my Fallout 3 plugin notepad located in the same part of my PC in the past and had no problems!.. Grinix
sagmo did you make a copy of your falloutnv.exe and rename it to fallout3.exe?
Argomirr
Or you could save yourself a lot of work and use the Load Order Sorting Tool (NV/FO3/OB) for now. ;)
PkDiEalationzCC
i think you guys are onto something with the conversion of FOMM to FO:NV MM. ...very clever stuff man. ...and in reply to zzmoondasherzz, pretty much ANY mod can make your game experience bug and crash.. thats the ONLY downside to mods, imo. ..it all depends on the stability of the mod, and if you have any overlapping meshes, from what i hear. ..but regardless, im sure they'll make a new vegas mod manager soon enough.. theyre already bringing in a lot of the old mods from fallout 3.. why would they leave the MOST important one out?? ..ya kno what im saying? Valasthor
LOST seems to be a sorting tool and Wrye Bash is a really mighty tool and was made for Oblivion and converted by a gifted modder.... Hopefully one of these tools helps you out of your misery.... Both tools are able to change load order..... Good Luck.....
