Dark0ne
Are you using a download manager? Download managers don't work on the site unless you're a premium member. Use your default browser's downloader.
r3d33m3r
Are you using a download manager? Download managers don't work on the site unless you're a premium member. Use your default browser's downloader. I am not using a download manager and i am using my default browser. Also Yes I am left clicking on the file. I'm not computer illiterate. I know how to work a computer. Can someone please explain why it does this to me. A few other sites does this to me too. Like gamershell and a few others. Dark0ne
I looked at the picture and couldn't recognise the icon of the browser you're using. What browser are you using? Have you tried a different browser?
CommanderCrazy
From the looks of it, that isn't a browser, but in fact, a DM.That wont work, as stated above. EDIT: Yes. That logo... It's almost definitely a DM. Edited October 27, 2010 by CommanderCrazy
bben46
Irfanview is not a download manager but an image viewer it came up because he is trying to DL a bmp file which is an image format. A picture and not a file. It looks like you have selected 'Open' instead of 'Save' - Open tries to open the file in the browser which will not work as the browser cannot deal with compressed files. You need to 'Save' the file to your hard drive. Then use an unzipping program such as 7-zip to extract the file.

CommanderCrazy
Internet explorer likes to integrate download managers into it. If there is any download manager, anywhere on your system, IE will try to download with it.Now, I am 87 percent sure that you are using one. Only 87 because, although that logo screams to me 'DM', it could be security or the like. The important thing to know is that is not IE's Default downloader. That is.Dont rage at me, but you are almost certainly using one. IE's Download box never looks like that, even on 7. (This is my laptop)Do a full system-wide scan for the words "Download Manager" and root around in the settings. If you can't find it, go herehttp://www.getfirefox.net/You'll thank me for it. EDIT: To bben, that's not irfanview. Irfanview's logo looks like a run over cat (Yes, that's what the makers intended :P )http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/d/d8/IrfanView_Logo.gif Edited October 27, 2010 by CommanderCrazy
Dark0ne
Since you're starting to get rude and use CAPS (ZOMG!!!11111) I'll just type what I wrote again. Have you tried a different browser?
