nipplepants
Now I know it seems rude to do requests, to ask someone take time out of their own lives to make something for me, but I'll do it anyway because this has been nagging me since I started this game, and I'm sure other people would enjoy what I am putting forward. The reload animations for the majority of the weapons are waaay to fast. I'm no gun nut, but it annoys me immensely watching my character reload the .357 magnum, each round individually in 2 seconds. Slowing them down to 25% for single round reloading and to 50% for magazine reloading.I was thinking that someone could modify that speed reloading perk to do the above, and then giving it to every single npc in the game. Of course you would have to lower the hp and dt of everything to balance that out.Someone, use your modding skills to make this please, I beg you. If its too finicky, don't worry about it.If this mod already exists please link me
Kendo 2
Well, the anims are governed by the game stats of the weapon (reload time and jam time) in the GECK and the condition of the weapon in-game. The timers in the KFs remain the same. That being said, editing the GECK stats will solve your issue.
TotallyNotToastyFresh
Yeah it's easy peasy. Just open up the weapon stats in the GECK.
nipplepants
Ok, I've never made a mod in my life, but I have an idea of what to do with the G.E.C.K, correct me if I am wrong.I make a copy of the normal .esm file, then go in and edit all the weapon stats, then load my edited one instead of the normal one. NOT a good idea. In the GECK open the NV esm and let it load. Rename one weapon (as a test) and alter what you want on that weapon. Click okay when you're done and save. The popup window will ask you what you want to name your new ESP. Give it a name and THAT is your new weapons esp. Now you can mod safely without screwing up your esm. cerebus23
lets not forget that ranged weapons being nerfed to hell and back and requiring you to load the proper ammo and maybe having to cycle thru several ammo types till it loads the one you need so you do not have to empty 500 rounds into the thing. is probably why the reload animas are hyped up. Kendo 2
Ok, I have the .esp open and I can't edit the reload time. How can I edit that? Try closing the program, right clicking it and running it as an administrator. Sometimes that works, sometimes not. Running a patched game and an upatched GECK will screw you up too.
