  1. But what are the script lines to do it?
  2. so i would like to copy the hv bos bunker and use it for a template to create a new bunker you have to infiltrate to get some items. but the issue seems to be that in the geck the hv bos bunker is segmented into a number of small chunks that would be very difficult to work with. i mean i would like to make a few patrols that move around the various halls and rooms but if i have to keep loading different cells to see the whole layout and makes it a tad confusing how things exactly link together etc. so if there anyway to combine the small chunks into one cohesive map? or is there a way to load multiple interior cells to see the whole picture? thanks.
  3. hmmm? http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Vault_19 supposed i would have just been skrewd for the quest since i killed powder gangers on sight no questions asked or wanted.
  4. dl one of the continue mods? tho i would recommend that you reset your standings to pre dam standings cause it is lame as all hell getting aggro from ncr in new vegas and having to kill them your your bots kill you cause if you keep your damn faction hits, lest if you dont side with the ncr like i didnt, they are all over the place and will want to kill you which would not be a problem if the ai in vegas adjusted to ncr = bad, me = good and all the robots did not decided i was a bad guy.
  5. how about a tough stealth run like in fo2? and old enclave or ncr base/bunker you have to sneak or fight your way in to get some experimental pa? with mk1 stats and buffs or something? put it way out maybe past nv or in the bug country someplace it would take some effort to get to at lest. single or duo guard patrols you can sneak by if you do not want to gain rep loss with the chosen faction. mean fo2 took some running and usually a lot of reloading your save when the random encounters got hard as you headed down to the base. then i think if memory serves there was one or two patrols to avoid in the actual base, to get to the ladder to reach the level with the armor stored. then you could just remove the pa training req from the armor or add a computer or book in the room that gives you the required training. mean there are a good bunch of power armor mods that probably already put the pas in or near gs etc.
  6. well easy enough to just use the console to add the perk or the old pccanusepowerarmor or whatever that command is to cheat it in, dunno the old fo games you could use it np i seem to recall in fo2 considering you could use the speed run to get it at the start of the game, why i added a book that grants it in victors shack in good springs in my mod named the book "power armor for dummies" :P cause you can get power armor pretty early in the game just doing the brotherhood line and looting several sets along that quest, nm if the old end loop gets your game stuck at the part you can actually get the damn training to wear it, then you were boned till the very end of the game just about for using the stuff. me i think the perk should just let you learn how to maintain and repair the stuff, maybe grant an agi bonus of there is any agi penalty on the armor or allow you to move faster in said power armor. seems wearing the stuff should be a no brainer but repairing and caring for the stuff should be where you need some skill to do that. seems just laziness on the coders part that every party member can wear the stuff i mean there is little or no reason why boon should be able to wear pa considering he was an ncr sniper and ncr does not hand pa out to everyone and the ones you scavenge off the ncr guys if you take the non ncr route in game are scavenged pa that have no training req even. so seems ncr does not even have real pa sets at all that they would train people to use it. nm cass being able to wear pa.......
  7. a lot of the fo nv system seem pretty compatable to me, similar weapons, implants, spells data and effects from the old oblivion days, flexible engine, and hell i dunno anyone since college that has played or wants to play sr these days, muds are ok but sr is a world that is ripe for a good pc or console rpg treatment not the joke that ms played with that crap fps game.
  8. so this has been 50 pages back for awhile bump for curiousity.
  9. maybe next year when they start coming out xbox gets dlc soon. pc has to wait.
  10. well purists are free to keep their games pure by the mods they dl is that not the bottom line? lot of people love anime and probably more keen to have fun with the game then worry if everything is canon, i mean while the world and timeline is crafted in great detail (see the fallout bibles) the game is also a rather tongue and cheek game in which we got robots, modern day weapons ancient cars that ran on nuclear reactors etc, exist. so most anything could be canon with a bit of retcon to the things backstory or just for the heck of it. hell i would not mind seeing a vaash the stampede trigun mod, the characters would fit rather well into new vegas almost perfectly, tho i doubt i would ever see vaash's coat done with any justice where i would actually use it a ton. having a lack of movable cloth with such an animated coat just would seem odd. but whatever floats your boat and the boat of other people that play the game the nexus is full of non canon creations and god items and etc, what some anime content?
  11. but not all of us take sandman know my character does not have it ;).
  12. well disabling pagefiles is a pretty widely debated topic from gamers in general, some claim they do it and have no ill effects, other claim it causes issues and unstability. my buddy does it but hes got like 20 some gig of ddr3 ram or something along those lines and claims he has no issues and everything runs better. i guess it depends how much ram you got to begin with and its speed, on the surface of it to my mind at lest forcing a pc to use ram which is going to be much faster than disk caching, no matter how you slice it should in theory give you better boost to system speed. but having only 4 gig of ram in a 64 bit os with usually a ton of stuff running i would be hesitent for myself to test it in practice. fonv tho by default should address no more than 2 gig of ram, unless you are using a 4 gig enabler hook on it, so 4 gig you might squeek by if your not running 10 web pages, etc to boot. you video card could also play if you got a monster video card with tons of ram so most of your textures are going to the card wholesale and not having to cach some of them to disk to stream them into memory, then you results might vary there also. but if it works for you do it.
  13. well since the game ends after you beat the game on hardcore mode and you have to start an entirely new game, seems kinda hard for them to give you anything for your efforts. other than an achievement on your steam profile. maybe when we get the dlc that expands the end game some way maybe they will add in some special item that you can use for the dlc off your hardcore save. way it seems now you could probably beat the game 5 or 10 times on hardcore mode doing everything in game until we get some dlc for pc at lest.
  14. any helios modifying mod should have the name "helios" in it but it does not making it kinda hard to find.......
