[REQUEST] A hair mod with a Bob haircut.

For hip people, I'm talking about an old school flapper bob.

For un-hip people, I'm talking about Sisters of Battle haircuts, except with straight across bangs.

If there's a mod existing that actually adds one already, please.....PLEASE drop a link in here. My girlfriend (and thusly, myself) is going nuts trying to get one for her character.

I've gone through just about every hair mod, and although a preview picture for Ren's hairs show a "Bob-ish" orange haircut, it doesn't exist in game for me. The closest thing I can get is Ren's Haircut that has a perfect Bob, but ruins it with two little ponytails underneath a la Yuna in FFX-2.

I would appreciate any help in this hunt for the perfect hairstyle.

Check some Japanese hairsets(several of them are part of Beautiful People 2ch Edition or Modular Beautiful People 2ch Edition), then maybe you can find what you want.

I actually stumbled upon that on google. I got the whole "Beautiful People 2ch Edition v 1.8.0 Fixed", a 284MB RAR.

Problem is, I don't know how to install the hairs only. All of the readmes are in japanese, so I won't know if I'm doing something wrong.

I already have the standard Beautiful People (an older one, 2.2) as I recently reinstalled Oblivion and took on the monster mod compilation TCOM a la SA forums, so it's important I have accurate documentation of the mods I add. It's been a long time since I messed with Oblivion mod wise. I wouldn't know how to only get the hairs working with my current setup.

Modular Beautiful People is newer one, though bnnfish stopped updating after 1.4a(Instead, you can find MBP++ at Narulivion blog). You need OBMM to convert .omod to normal 7z format, then extract hair meshes and textures.

I tried installing it, but without english instruction it just added a lot of races to the game, most of which can't have any hair, a couple without ears, and limited eye sets. It also added lots of duplicate races. Not sure what to do to just get the hairs specifically to work with any race, without adding all the other garbage.

The first thing you need to do is separate the meshes and textures for the hair, then delete everything else in the mod. After that you need to use the construction set to create an .esp file that will tell the game how to use these meshes and textures.
