Zniky Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 The dark messiah demo is out, pretty short for a 1.6gb download but its pretty coolGamershell download link: http://www.gamershell.com/download_14927.shtml
Community Manager Dark0ne Posted August 10, 2006 Community Manager Posted August 10, 2006 Haven't downloaded it yet. I was hoping for a multiplayer demo instead, since thats what I want to be playing.
m3lisk Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 DARK MESSIAH ROCKS! it is really large tho for such a short demo...
Birdcatmeow Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 Hm... I actually DID download Dark Massiah/might and magic demo... this is the 1st time ever I download a demo. I saw the review, looks very nice, people say its waaay better than oblivion. Though i will NEVER! admit it, it looks better - the graphics are good, you can do many realistic things (like throw stuff), fighting looks good and the spells are Awesome 8) ! and there is blood and gore ;) . I do not like the lack the 3rd person view (taking very handsome screenies of myself  ) Besides, it sertenly lacks the life and harmony of oblivions Cyrodyll, with the nice and mean people, with the grim Imperial Watch, with the guilds you can join, with the poor Adoring Fan that constantly gets killed for an unknown reason... Dark Massiah is a game I would buy, sadly :( i would surely leave oblivion forever, like i did to all the old PC games. enjoy some cool videos i found playing A Warior , A Wizard and An Assasin.
dreth Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 I did the install but I couldn't get past the user login selection part. Where you decide if you put the program on all users or just one. I put the user in but it wouldn't let me select next to move on :( . Forget that I figured it out.
EternalDarkWing Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 I hate it when people compare it to Oblivion. Oblivion is a massive open-ended RPG where you can go whereever you want. Dark Messiah: Might & Magic is still story driven but it is mission based and gets you into the fights quickly. Sure there are a lot of similarities between the two (first person combat, fantasy setting, upgradeable abilities), but they are really two different games in their own right in terms of gameplay.
