HailHell
What files do i need to package for quest mods? Because i have a couple of mods installed and im not quite sure which files were made as a result of the quest.
Mattiewagg
Anything you created with the quest mod. That will be the .esp, the scripts, and possibly SEQ, meshes, textures, and sound files. And gray face fix files: http://skyrimmw.weebly.com/skyrim-modding/fixing-the-gray-face-skyrim-modding-tutorial
HailHell
i am aware of the basics but i noticed that some TIF scripts were created and i also realised that there is a dialougeview folder in my data directory and i am not sure if it was there before i made the quest, i am asking if there are any files that are created automatically by ck due to quest creation that i should be aware of, such as the TIF scripts... IsharaMeradin
Yes, there are files that are automatically created. Any script fragments that you use will have a script created. For dialog topics those are TIF scripts. For packages they are PF scripts. For quests they are QF scripts. Probably a few more... One way to get MOST of the files is to start the process of creating the BSA inside the Creation Kit. http://www.creationkit.com/File_Menu#Create_Archive There are some issues however with this method of BSA creation. It won't include any pre-existing files that you modified (scripts, textures, meshes, etc). It only includes files created for the plugin and new files assigned to records. So you can use this method to locate the automatically created files in order to include them in your loose file archive or your BSA that you make with the external archive.exe file

IsharaMeradin
I didn't say that... Best to leave it open to the possibility of there being other auto-generated file types as well.
HailHell
So how am i sopose to know what other files have been generated? Is there a log somewhere or an explanation of what is generated when on some site?
IsharaMeradin
Trial and error? Know what your data folder contents are before you make a mod so you know what has been added? Scour the wiki and see if it says anything? Found this: http://www.creationkit.com/Dialogue_Views_Tab has information about the DialogueViews folder you mentioned earlier.
