Ozisl
Some spoilers for the end of the NCR faction... You can make nice with the BoS, spend a while doing quests and helping them, as a good-karma character should. Stuck your neck out for them, earned their respect. The at the end... you have to blow them the f* up. Not a slightest chance at diplomacy. My request would be to basically circumvent that quest... have a BoS meet you outside their bunker and have a speech check to convince them to pack up and leave, stay neutral or to help. No good-aligned character just unceremoniously blows up a few dozen of their friends without even talking to them.
HaikenEdge
SPOILER ALERT Actually, after you join the BOS, you can talk them into allying with NCR. Too bad you can't talk them into allying with yourself, or at least I haven't discovered that yet.
Ozisl
Hm, I'll have to try that. Still, it seems harsh to not even allow diplomacy ATTEMPTS... even when you go to the Khans, they talk to you, even though you can be vilified... devilbound
HAVE to blow them up..? What you on about... For the main storyline there are very few have-to's, and that aint one of them.
Khet
Yea, I never blew up the BoS. I was buddy-buddy with them before getting that quest and McNamada or however his name is spelled agreed to helping the NCR.
StPatrick923
Incidentally, however, I don't see anything on the Fallout Wiki about being able to negotiate with them during Mr. House's quest line. Is it possible, or do you have to blow them up?
