Somethimes when i play a game its fun fun fun then all of a sudden you hit a "wall" and it gets boring and tedious. It can really happen very quickly. I have now come to that pont with Fallout New Vegas. I have played 45 hours so i have played qute a long time before i feelt this but its still frustrating. Any tips for when this happens on how to get back the intrerest?

I've played for 2 hrs and lost interest. My only advice is to move to different games and play those then after a couple of months play NV.

That's where mods come in. We won't see the jaw droppin eye popping mods til the script extender known as FOSE is released and heavily used by modders.

I presently have close to 100 mods running on Fallout 3, half of which require FOSE. That game would have nowhere near the replayability if I was forced to run straight up vanilla. Gonna be nice in a few months when New Vegas catches up. In the meantime enjoying both games fully and not blind to the fact New Vegas is way behind the game in terms of Patches, DLC's and Mods Fallout 3 has been gifted with over the years but the potential is definitely there.

I get what the OP is saying and I assume he is not a completionist.

That's what has me going right now till DLC's.

Currently working on discovering and looting every location I can as the main quest is paused about 2 hours from being over.

Not running any mods really. Just running the El Swag Bag mod, the Silenced 9mm Pistol mod (To overcome dev stupidity), and the suppressed Assault Carbine mod (again...dev stupidity overhaul).

Just finding all the locations and all the little moments where the devs decided to have some fun. For instance...finding Fluffy....

Ill probably finish this game (looking to be at around 90Hrs or 100Hrs by then) before doing a quick run through the opposite side (Doing NCR atm) before I shelve NV till DLC or major mods come out.
