Mods not loading now

Hi Everyone,

 

Up until two weeks ago or so I had no trouble with my mods or anything. At some point I started getting a message each time I tried to activate a new mod that says "the selected plugin has been manually removed. Restart NMM or select again your game on Change Game Mode to refresh the plugin list." I have no idea why it's saying this as I've not intentionally removed any plugins.

 

I have reinstalled my game, reinstalled NMM and deleted anything I thought might have caused the problem and still no luck. Interestingly, I was able to successfully install a texture pack and that popup didnt appear. THen I tried installing another mod and it came back so the second mod didn't work.

 

I've also tried going to data files and selecting the mods I want to run and it does no good either. Each time I start up the game none of the mods(other than the texture mod) work.

 

Any idea what's causing this?

Try cleaning out your browser cache.

Is that the same as the "verify the integrity of game cache" option on steam or do you mean actually cleaning out my web browser or something?

Yes, your web browser. Whenever I have weird NMM problems I use CCleaner to get rid of crap that accumulates from surfing the internet and it usually fixes it. You can do it without CCleaner. IIRC its Cnrl+Alt+Del. Might depend on your browswer.

 

Not an expert, but I guess the NMM needs room in your browser cache to do its thing.

Thanks a lot, I have CCleaner so I'll mess around with it a bit and see what I can do!

I've had the same problem for over a year now...it's kept me locked out of NMM the whole time...(Edit: tried CCleaner...no dice...still not working...)
