whatte s*** just happened?

So i was sniping through some deathclaws to get the enclave armor when suddenly my tv screen turns black and returns me to the playstation XMB menu or whatever its called...now thats just strange, dont know what caused it and i know theres nothing wrong with my ps3 or the disc itself, not a single scratch on my new vegas disc.This happened to any of you guys ?

seems like bethesda is going downhill with the technology, oblivion was ran perfectly, sure it had bugs/glitches but it didnt crash or freeze.

 

then came fallout 3 wich had these unstoppable freezes every 30-45 minutes.

 

and now the ultimate game that pisses you off in every way. game crashes,freezes and all kinda BS... im starting to wonder if they just rushed fallout 3 / New vegas.

a lot of games on consoles these days can crash the console period i mean red dead redemption was pretty famous for its ctds on both systems. i think i had it crash twice during my play thru of the game, granted in a 60 hour game twice is not too bad and a real bargain next to fallout 3 or nv, so what long as it does not brick your system otherwise go complain to bethesda tech support.

You all have to remember it could be your computer/console. If you use your console to watch movies a lot, you run the risk of burning it out quicker. I am playing on a decent PC, but I know the power box is less than what the video card asks for, so I am expecting crashes. Only had one, and I think it was because I had too many pages open aside from the game. It runs well for me, very few problems. And I try to save often in case it does happen. The more advanced an item is, the more advanced it's problems are. Can't just blow into your xbox to fix it, but your old nes can't play a dvd, house a music library, or handle the games we play now adays. All I am saying is that everything has problems. The functionality of this game is good to me.

Actually this is the result of a complicated and powerful voodoo spell placed on all console users by a large union of PC users. This is a justified revenge (and devine retribution in our humble pinion) for the dumbing down to console levels, of inumerable "previously PC only" game titles. We are tired of hold over DX 9 tech (because Devs figured hey that **** is fine on consoles..................the PC guys can just suck it up), lame textures and lack of advanced rendering features, and the near whole sale elimination of standard PC game features like lean/peek and prone. :whistling:

 

Just kidding...................CTDs are never a cool thing, no matter what your platform. :(

We users can be the devs, that's why they did such a bad job, so that we can mend it with the GECK.
