dragonosis
So the idea here is simple (though probably easier said than done): Wolf AI changing depending on how many wolves are nearby. The first thing this would do is make wolves spawn in larger numbers (2-10 maybe). After that, it would give wolves three AI options, based on how many "pack members" are left. When at 5 or more wolves, the wolf will act how it usually does in game, they will run at you ant attack you. When only 3 or 4 wolves are there it would trigger a stalking mode, where the wolves would follow you and attack if you got too close, howling every now and then to remind you that they're there (if they are in combat then they would still attack you when you're up close as a melee player, but would slowly stalk ranged attacking enemies because they are further away from them). When the number of wolves drops to 2 or less, the AI would change again, making them run until they are cornered. If you hit them with a melee weapon, then they will fight back. So, that's the idea. If someone could make this, then I would love to have it, or if it's already done (or something similar), then tell me.
newzilla7
One part of this, the wolf pack hunting, is actually already in SkyTEST Realistic Animals and Predators. I'd be interested to see the AI changes depending on numbers added to SkyTEST.
Teabone3
hmm this actually possible using "conditions" rather than scripting. Detect how many actors of the same type are in the area than run a different combat style depending on that.
Deleted1308005User
I really hope we see improved AI like this in next Fo/ES game. AFAIK wolves currently have some kind of "common sense", they do seem to favor engaging combat from side or behind. But yes, some of the creatures should act in different manner depending on the situation. Looking forward to anything!
