Morgwynn
I need a chest that can be summoned often but just takes everything not equipped out of my inventory and stores it but can also be manually sorted through to retrieve selected items. I know a script exists for that Markarth quest that takes all your gear when your thrown in Cidna mine. The auto - sorting houses are nice but I need a portable chest that can carry 8000-10000lbs worth of gear and be easily summoned. I seen a few summonable chests out there but they have time restrictions of once a day but when you carrying around 12k-14k worth of gear and you need to dump it into something and it take several realtime hours to just dump your gear it's not fun. Morgwynn
I'm a pack rat in the game. . . . Ooops I picked up a wooden bowl I think i'll keep it, after all it might look nice when I'm redecorating a bandit lair as a temporary base. IsharaMeradin
Check into the bag of holding mods. While not summonable, they will let you store anything your heart desires. Another option to consider is the Apocalypse mod. Either in the main mod or in the addon there is a spell called Deep Storage which gives access to a container with unlimited capacity. Morgwynn
I have a summonable dremora butler that can carry 5000lbs and Haven Bag with tons more portable storage, my main problem is that it takes me 25-30 minutes just to go through my weapons list and another 30-45 minutes to go through my armor list and by the time I'm done going through my inventory I've spent 3-4 hours real time just messing with my inventory so a chest that I could just dump everything and sort through later would be great. Well dump everything but what I have equipped at the time. When I have 12,000 to 14,000 lbs worth of stuff in my inventory I get a 30-40 second lag when I go to search a body or put stuff in safe chests and that is majorly annoying. When I'm carrying under 6000lbs I don't get any lag from opening chests or searching bodies.

IsharaMeradin
Problem with just dumping everything you have at once into a container...If you are having issues just opening another container at this point, you'll likely crash with a mass transfer like that. I could devise a small script that would transfer all items you are not wearing into another container, but it would transfer quest items and favorite'd items as well. Not to mention that it would have to do it one item at a time which will take a good long while if you have as many items as you claim to have. What about a mod that would sort out ingredient items such as those for alchemy recipes, smithing recipes etc? It wouldn't solve the problem completely but it just might help relieve some of the burden in manually sorting.
Morgwynn
The mod I'm using lets me carry 143,000lbs and over time I just ended up with literally tons of gear. I don't mind having everything dumped into a chest or container, favorites included because I always write down the gear, spells, shouts, potions and weapons I put in my favorites list anyway. As long as I can sort through the stuff later.
Havenost
How I manage my inventory is I have a mod called Aemer's refuge, it has the best auto sort function I have ever found in a house mod.I put all the gear/stuff I want to keep on myself into the safe in the player's room. I then walk up to the auto sort chest, open up the console and type player.removeallitems [insert auto sort chest id]. Because like you I play with a mod that lets me carry an obscene amount of stuff, and I also use the auto harvest mod, so I auto loot every weapon, and a ton of other stuff and it use to take me like 5 minutes just to open my inventory or whenever I tried to loot something manually that opens up the inventory menu. Morgwynn
" Player.removeallitems [insert auto sort chest id]. " <--( does that really work.? ) I might not even need a mod if I can console cowboy my way around the problem.
IsharaMeradin
That would work. It would remove equipped items, favorited items, all the junk. Yet unlike RemoveItem, it won't remove quest items. If you don't want equipped items being removed, you have to cycle the player inventory and remove the items one at a time (or create a formlist of non-equipped items and remove that) but then quest items will be removed. It is a pain in the butt when dealing with automatic transfers. Manually, everything can be safe. I just don't think Bethesda thought of players that might give themselves an insane carry weight and carry everything under the sun with them. Personally, I find dumping everything and then trying to sort back through to get my gear more of a nightmare than just sorting the junk out first. But then, I'm only a pack rat till I can find someone to buy the junk. I tend to only hang on to unique quest rewards for the long term.
