Needs more Benny!

Attention fellow Fallout lovers! It has come to my attention, after hours of gameplay and wiki research that the beloved 'Benny' is only featured for a limited amount of time in New Vegas. How could Obsidian betray me in such a way? I adore Benny's character and I've even begun saying some of his little expressions, dig?

 

Is there no way we can revive Benny? Is there no way we can work happily with him? Is there no modder who shares my opinion?

 

I got a fever...and the only cure is more Benny.

And you still like that bastard ? The first thing I done with him when I got into the tops was chating friendly, then I invited him in the prezidential suit (female character with black widdow perk FTW) Than I killed him nice and slowly. He's screams filled that room. It felt awsome.

But do want you want it's your character. Good luck finding a modder. :thumbsup:

At first try to think what you really want.

 

After all you can help him escape the Legion camp if you really love him that much.

 

If you have to do some modding you could remove the legion capture event if you wanna keep him close all the time. You could even make him essential (means he'll be immortal, cant kill him only make him unconscious).

Yeah im wondering where he goes after saving him from caeser. Last time i saw him he was limping away, cant of been killed though, pretty much erradicated the entire camp and razed it to the ground.

Yeah, I loved benny's voice acting, would love to see him come back. We'd need an equally quirky Voice acting and some good coding so the ending works properly. The ending video would also be a pain

I don't qualify as a voice actor, but i can see if i can improve Benny's script a bit so you re-encounter him after his legion escape.

I liked Benny too, oddly enough. Even after the second screw up, it's obviously nothing personal (considering how cooperative he is on passing info about Yes Man to you).

He isn't a villain, he's a ruthless pragmatist in a dog-eat-dog post apocalyptic vegas. He shot you in the head because he had to, he even looks you in the eye and practically apologises first... "Maybe Khans shoot people in the head without looking them in the eye, but I ain't a fink, ya dig?". Benny is the most likeable antagonist I've seen in a long time.

I don't want to oversell myself here, but in terms of voicing, I believe I may be of assistance. While not identical to Matthew Perry's impersonation of the fictional Benny, I have the ability to achieve 'Bennyish' mannerisms and voicing. If there are indeed any modders willing to create an alternate 'Benny' ending and playthrough and if they are willing to overlook an exact impression, note that I would be happy to help.
