The Sticky Easter Egg

There are some SPOILERS in here, so please don't read if you want to discover things on your own :)

 

Use Sticky as a 3rd follower. He can wear armour, use a gun, and be a pack mule. Too cool! Oh yes, he talks a lot.

 

I am on Very Hard mode. Don't know if it makes a difference or not.

 

 

On my way back from Raven Rock I pickup Sticky and bring him to Big Town to pick up the Karma points. I don't know why but this time was different. I told him he had that stupid party hat on and he took it off. Cool. Then we went on our merry way. If you've never taken Sticky back to big town then you don't know that all he does is talk and talk and talk and talk and keeps asking when are we going to get there and I had enough. I didn't want to get rid of him BUT I said to myself, "We'll go to Big Town allright but we're going THE LONG WAY." So off we headed to Vault 101 to pickup Dogmeat, who goes there after the Enclave ambush in Vault 87.

 

Well Sticky's not armed and all he has is cloth clothes and it doesn't take long, if your not careful, for him to get killed. And I guess it was just funny when it happened, especially when he's in the middle of one of his "stories," which he doesn't finish because he gets killed. But after a couple times of that I started feeling like Dr. "Betty" Braun whom "I Do Not Like At All" and felt a little guilty so I looked at Sticky's options. Guess what, he can carry a gun. So I gave him a gun and he did pretty well with it. So I gave him a better gun and he did really good with it. And Ya know his stories are sortof funny especially when you in the middle of a melee and he starts whistling or complaining or telling a story, I was laughing and I was really having fun with the game but I didn't know what would happen when we picked up Dogmeat at Vault 101 because according to the game rules a player can only have 2 NPC's following him.

 

So at Vault 101 we picked up Dogmeat and Sticky is still with us. And then we get ambushed by the Talon company and Sticky did a pretty good job. So then I'm thinking I wonder if Sticky can wear armour and guess what he can!!! So I give him a better gun and fix his armour to near 100%

 

So we all head over to the Citadel to finish up the Main Quest and I want to see if Sticky stays around, and you know we're givin the option of the Power Armour or the Recon Armour. Well I am using some great Power Armour that I picked up in Oasis, which give me +10 Big Guns and I didn't want to give that up, I'm not at 100 Big Guns yet, So I took the Recon Armout thinking I could give it to Sticky and you know what he put it on!!!

 

So as the purifier give the exploding pulse, the last thing I heard was Sticky saying, "Are we there yet?" I just kept laughing. When I woke up he was still there with Fawkes and Dogmeat and the first thing I heard was, "Are we there yet?" So funny ;D

So you're saying you had Sticky, Dogmeat and Fawks all at the same time? That's interesting..i'm not much for companions but i'll have to try this.

Me: f*** you im not taking you to Big Town

 

Sticky: You really suck you know that? I hope a mutant bites your face off and you DIE!!

You can do this with pretty much anyone who you have to escort somewhere. Their usefulness as a follower however is debatable.

The thing about Sticky as far as I know is his quest isn't essential. So, if he never gets to Big Town....

 

And as far as the annoying part, I grew up with a younger sibling 'nough said ;)
