1.3.0.1029 to 1.6.0.1820 Morrowind

Hi!
I recently installed my GOTY edition of Morrowind. After that I tried applying some mods, such as the "Morrowind Code Patch" but it seems like my original exe is out of date. So I started searching for a patch for 1.3.0.1029 to 1.6.0.1820, and I found one labeled "1.6.1820 Bloodmoon". But when I try installing it says "Old file not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match."

I tried searching the net for a while and the only post I found was one on the offcial elder scrolls forums which did not help since it seemed like that person had an illegal copy of the game.
What do I do? Can't seem to find an answer, should I just play the game without the patch?
Thanks

AFAIK, the GoTY edition already has the 1.6.1820 patch applied to it.

You should apply MCP to an unaltered EXE, so before using Timeslip's EXE Optimiser or the 4GB Patch

If you're trying to apply MCP to an unaltered EXE (it sounds like you are) then I'd suggest posting in the MCP thread over at Bethsoft, Hrnchamd has been popping up there recently so would have a better chance of helping out than most people here.

Hmm, that's very weird then!
Now that i think about it, I did install tribunal after bloodmoon. Could it be that easy and stupid?
I'll try that, otherwise I'Il post over there.
Thank you for the help!
