Rakeris
For some reason I can't download mods more than around 5-10mb, as the files just randomly stop downloading and get canceled somehow. (Just get an incomplete file generally around 5-10mb in size) Can download smaller mods without a problem, and mods around 5mb are normally fine too. One of mods in question is the fallout3 mod Better Arsenal Desert Eagles V5. I have tried to download large files on other websites without a problem, (100+mb downloads) also tried 3 different browsers, chrome, firefox and IE. So not sure what is going on here, any help would be great! Thanks.

Dark0ne
He did say he'd already tried 3 different browsers. Does this happen on all the file servers? Try downloading from all of them, even if they're on a different continent. The way the servers are setup to serve files requires that you have a constant connection to the server. It's because the files are being served via PHP rather than HTTP to stop file leechers. As a result a small minority of users have trouble downloading from the sites because their internet has a high packet loss or because their ISP changes the IP of the users regularly. HTTP, video games, etc. don't normally disconnect because the loss is so minimal but PHP does. It's a down-side, but considering the security PHP provides in this regard it won't be changing. Sorry. Rakeris
Ah I bet that is why then, my connection has very low packet loss most of the time. But it's wireless so it will have slight pauses every once in a while. Bet those pauses are what kicks it off, bummer.
