Oubliette
1. Quicksave is not your friend. You should have several 'hard' saves to hand so you have something to revert to. 2. It tells you what mods you're missing that has caused the error in the first two lines, make sure they're both loaded and in their original spot in the load order. 3. Wrye might be able to repair your save if the first two don't work. Either way you should download it, read it's readme file and learn to use it. It's a life saver. Gunslinger46
Well on a scale of 1 to 10 of how bad it is i passed over 100.Just found this article while i was trying to search the problem and fix it. Try using the Repair All function with Wrye Mash. Otherwise...[6a] Trying to load a bad form in TES3File::NextForm If you're seeing this error message when you try to load a save file, then I can only hope, for your sake, that you have another save not far behind this one. All of these error messages mean the same thing: the save you're trying to load is completely ruined and un-playable. These errors are beyond bad mod references and other errors that programs like Wrye Mash can clean up. These are errors in the core data and structure of the save file. Usually the bad save is a quicksave file, or the game was interrupted when you last saved to that file (game crashed, power went out, computer crashed, etc). There is no way to load a save game once it's been branded with one of these errors. The best way to avoid this problem is to save often and never rely heavily (if at all) on quicksaves.Yes i had a power failure and i knew it had to do something with that. Now as the article says i am basically done for,i can't even think of starting from scratch as it pains me.Are there any experts who can dive in this problem and somehow edit it? Dragon32
You could try using tes3cmd and its recover switch. tes3cmd is a command line tool. As per the description the recover option was designed for attempting to recover data from a plugin (esp) rather than a save (ess). From what I understand your save (and it sounds like your only one) is corrupted. tescmd may be able to recover it but there is no guarantee your save will be playable. Or even that tes3cmd can do anything with it. Maybe tes3cmd can recover enough data for you to load the save, some information will be missing, how serious things are depends on what that information is.
