Oblivion: Thoughts and opinions

Er, eh? Rhydderch, you should know by now our rules against making pointless posts that add nothing to threads... so please don't do it. ;)

It's the standard reply you get from an NPC in Oblivion when their Disposition is below 70. You can't walk straight up to someone and get info without taking a little time in the Persuasion minigame, you know.

Fact of the matter is, I find it somewhat difficult to open up this train of thought to someone who just showed up in the forum and hasn't taken the time to browse back on every single thread concerning peoples' opinions (and complaints, so it seems) on the game.

Rhydderch Hael sez,

Fact of the matter is, I find it somewhat difficult to open up this train of thought to someone who just showed up in the forum and hasn't taken the time to browse back on every single thread concerning peoples' opinions (and complaints, so it seems) on the game.

Well, golleee Maynard. Would a note from my mother do? I was a Boy Scout! Whatever; I was just asking your opinion, not for your credit card number. That's cool. :D The reason I'm posting this, is because most everybody has had the time to play the game through at least once. And has had plenty of time to evaluate it. I'm pretty sure most people have compared it to Morrowind at least once. Oh yes, for your information, I did do a search. None of the previous topics quite fit what mine is looking for. There really was no need for the remarks.

I would like to get everybodys thoughts on Oblivion. What you like and don't like. How you feel it compares to Morrowind. And what you would like to see changed in TESV.

Why Do You Play Oblivion?

The Elder Scrolls Five

Elder Scrolls V???

Morrowind or Oblivion

Oblivion-- I Don't Get It

Oblivion vs Morrowind

From a cursory five-minute browse of thread titles in the most recent pages of this forum. There is obviously no need to reinterate a well-discussed subject.

It is true that this has been discussed a lot as of late. I'm not sure people will have any new opinions to offer...

So I think I'll lock this for now.
