Hi all i made a model a hummer and i have Gamebryo Lightspeed program that made the Fallout NW so i have the tools for 3ds max and how i put the model in Fallout what now i need to have that i can put it in the game

what version is lightspeed export at? I presume it starts with a 3?

 

basically, while exporter will likely be quite similar to bethesda's one, you will not have their exact export scripts, so i dare say it will not be of a huge use, you will not be able to export any of the bethesda specific nodes needed for fallout version nifs. so unless you really know what you are doing in nifskope, then the exported files will never work in fallout.

 

still, it would be quite useful to export animations using their animation manager in newer versions of max beyond max 8, and perhaps the kf updater will run on it, and make the kf usable in fallout.

 

basically you are best off using niftools plugin for the most part as that is going to give the best functionality compatibility in fallout

 

oh and btw I do not believe obsidian or bethesda used lightspeed, i believe it was an older versionof the max tools, gamebryo 2.x

possibly with custom studio edits, and certainly in house export scripts
