DuWMinh
It would be great if someone could make a mod which will change the voice of the characters to this "walkietalkie"-like sound, like it has been for power armors in Fallout 3.I just havent found a mod yet, so im asking here. jambonpaper
I agree with you DuWMinh, but I can't find any way to transfer what modulates the voices in Fallout 3 to New Vegas. Maybe somebody knows how to?
viennacalling
I'm guessing it was done in the Fallout 3 game engine itself, and for whatever reason was removed from the New Vegas game engine. If that is indeed the case, then it can't be ported.
Khajit187
Erm... you sure the voices weren't just recorded like that for the characters that are already wearing a PA helmet...?
viennacalling
I don't believe so, in Fallout 3 you could give NPCs like the residents of Big Town PA helmets and their voices would change. When you open the GECK for both Fallout 3 and New Vegas and look at the armor there is a checkbox for "Modulates Voice." Unfortunately it doesn't seem to do anything in New Vegas since Veronica's voice doesn't seem to change whether she's wearing a PA helmet or not.
