South East Asia Server

I like all the mods for Oblivion but the only problem for me is that the download speed is really slow(1kb to 5kb persec).

So can you make a SEA server?

What internet connection do you have? I'm from eastern Europe and I download from american servers and I get speeds up to 100+ kb/sec(non-premium). Anyway, only the site administrator(Dark0ne) is able to add/make new servers. Good luck!:thumbsup:

My connection to any server is slow (mostly 1 to 20 kb/sec.

There's no plans to add any new file server locations any time soon. Sorry.

What is your actual connection, like 1mpbs or 256k?

Basically what speed, and type ADSL, ADSL2 etc. (Note, Wireless doesn't count in this field as you need a base connection before the wireless router can send it)

@CC: He must have a realy slow internet connection if he only gets such slow download speeds. We have other members from Asia to, but I haven't seen one reporting such slow download speeds.

Connections to Asia and other parts of the world can also, as I understand them, be greatly affected by which nodes, and how many your connection passes through to reach a particular server. Because of this you can sometimes get a better connection to other servers even when they are geographically further from you. Traffic along the connection can also play a role.
