Aragron Posted November 12, 2010 Share Posted November 12, 2010 to create a quest,all you need to do is go to Actor data,then quest ,right click new put an ID for it check the start game enabled ,then use the script in the quest(you need to click ok before tring to add the scipt). fronzelneekburm Posted November 12, 2010 Share Posted November 12, 2010 A "quest" in Fallout3/NV does not necessarily need to be a real quest as you think about talking to ppl and having to do stuff, it can also be mis-used as a container and control instance for scripts. You could make an "invisible" quest that just keep track about like how many houses a player bought and constantly kicks off your money earning script. You dont need to have that "quest" appear in the players active quests or so, think of it more as a "helper object". It's often easier to abuse a quest to keep track of how many houses a player has and adding events to it than making complicated global scripts that check for inventory items.
